   Came to the boat house yesterday for my partners birthday dinner, from the start the staff were brilliant and friendly. The fillet steak was again to die for, and the chef made me a blue cheese sauce for my steak. There is plenty of food on your plate, i had trouble finishing it. The guy who took our order was so polite and friendly, and nothing was to much trouble for them. After we had our meal, we were chatting with the staff, who were all really nice. When it came time to pay, I was asked by the manager if I wanted to pay the service charge which I think they deserve, but it was optional, but I didn’t mind as the food and staff were great and really welcoming. The manager even gave my partner his cake for free as it was his birthday. Every birthday we always without fail come here, and we are never disappointed with the food or the staff. The Christmas tree and the way the restaurant is done up looks amazing, really christmassy and so pretty. Keep up the good work guys, your all great

   We both had fillet steak and I can only say it is spot on, and for dessert we had chocolate orange cake realy nice. All the staff are really friendly and pleasant this is a really nice place to visit. ( thanks again for the cake )

   Lovely spot for lunch with a stunning view over Sale Water Park. The fish and chips were tasty, and the mixed salad fresh and satisfying. The interior decor adds to the charm, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a scenic meal. Would definitely visit again!

   I have been quite a few times, and every time has been wonderful. The service is brilliant, staff always very helpful, and friendly. Food is amazing, we are a family of 10 and none of us have had a bad meal. Definitely recommend. Looking forward to going again.

   First time for us trying this place. We had 'The Boathouse Prime Beef Burger' which was Fantastic, lovely Restaurant, very retro, the Staff were Brilliant too. We will definitely be going back. Highly Recomnended.

   I've not been here for year and after today I don't know why I don't go more often. There's a fantastic view of the lake from the restaurant. My friends and I all had the early bird menu option. I had smoked mackerel pate with cream cheese, toast and a small salad. My friends had broccoli soup with poppy seed bread and butter. And tuna and egg with salad. Cheese and onion pie with magnificent crispy, crunchy chips and beans. Steak pie with lots of steak in the filling and gravy and a haddock and chips. Three of us had soft whippy ice cream and sauce and an apple and blackberry crumble and custard was devoured very quickly. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. We'll definitely be back
