Wonderful team at the Bulls Head, Location, great, staff are excellent and very accommodating. Rooms are comfortable however, we found them a little cold in the evening due to the room being heated with storage heaters. It wouldnβt normally impact us but the bedding duvet was very thin. The room was clean, bed very comfortable. Breakfast is not to be missed and the staff excellent. We would definitely stay again and recommend this accommodation.

My wife and I recently stayed for two nights - we could have easily stayed lots more. Very easy booking and great online information. Excellent welcome by Ian at the lodge and car parking very easy to register. Superb room, spotlessly clean with everything needed - and complimentary top ups of anything when required. Great breakfast choice with prompt and helpful service in a lovely relaxed area. Our evening meal was wonderful with really great customer service from Vicky and Steven. There is a tangible great atmosphere in the bar amongst all the customers and staff who go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as enjoyable and quality as possible. I am originally from that area and I felt genuinely proud that my wife found the staff team so warm, friendly, knowledgeable and great northern humour and hospitality. Without question, we would recommend the Bulls Head for any sort of visit and canβt wait to return!

βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ Fantastic Evening at The Bulls Head, Hale! We had a wonderful experience at The Bulls Head in Hale! The service was absolutely excellent β Vicky and Josh were both friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. A big thank you also to the night manager, David, who made sure everything ran smoothly and added a personal touch to the evening. The food was spot on β the scampi was perfectly cooked, the fish and chips were crisp and delicious, and the deserts were absolutely lovely. Everything was fresh, piping hot, and full of flavour. A great atmosphere, great service, and great food β weβll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend!

The hotel is always great. Clean. Friendly reception and cosy. The restaurant was really great tonight. Although also very good usually. I hadnβt booked my dinner but they fitted me in even though full. So friendly. Love this place.

We visited for a Sunday lunch having scoured the web for recommendations and reviews and settled on here. We did not stay at the hotel so cannot pass comment. We were unable to park on site due to some of the carport being out of action due to building work to expand the car park. It took approximately 20 minutes for our starters to come out, Yorkshire pudding strip and gravy along with pork crackling. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our starters and had high hopes for our Sunday dinners. However a 55 minute wait was poor. There were items missing mainly the parsnips and honey glazed carrots that despite having asked for them we were merely bought a further dish of seasonal greens with a few carot batons that had never seen a drop of maple glaze in their life. The quality of the beef was very good and the Yorkshire puddings here are fab. The cauliflower cheese was mediocre and not something I would pay extra for again. The mashed potato was a saving grace as the roast potatoes whilst packing flavour were disappointing as there was no crunch to the texture and were not much further on than a boiled potato. A place that offered so much potential however we leave disappointed both in agreement that we would unlikely return. If you managed to find a quiet day in which the food came out at reasonable intervals this may improve the experience. Whilst the staff were polite throughout there was a lack of attentiveness

We had a lovely stay for two nights, two rooms for our daughter and ourselves. The rooms were cozy and plenty of room. (very accommodating when we wanted a double rather than two singles) The pub served up lovely tasty meals and a great variety of breakfasts foods which were exciting and inventive.A lovely stay thank you. Thank you for assistance with the taxi firm for the airport, in helping with sorting out the cost of the taxi etc.

Perfect! The hotel is very welcoming, staff are friendly and go above an beyond. The food! Outstanding and honestly I'm already thinking of excuses to stay again. I stayed as we were travelling to the airport, what a great way to start our holiday! I'm thinking next time we go here as our getaway as it was bliss!!

It's very nearly excellent. The pub is great, good choice of on tap beers. The food is good and not crazy money. The hotel is generally good value for money. The rooms are bright and spacious. They are beginning to get a bit tired in places though. There were odd splash stains all over the walls by the toilet and some scuffs and bumps. I'd give it 4 and a half stars if I could. It's not quite a full 5 though.

Stayed at the Bulls head for one night before a flight, great food and staff. Bed nice and clean and comfortable, room itself needs attention to detail, radiator full of dust, only little thing but all makes a difference on a stay, other than this it was very nice, tea coffee facilities and plenty. . Would come back. Food was amazing and well priced. Thank you.

Really enjoyed our visit on a Sunday, managed to book online easily, parking was available. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the food came in a very reasonable time, great value and cooked to a very good standard. The children's menu offered choice and well-sized portions. Highly recommended!
