   We’ve just thrown away our order of two tofu curries and some BBQ ribs - all swimming in watery liquid, with no discernible flavours. Salt and pepper chips were ok. So disappointing and a waste of my hard-earned money.

   We ordered a Chicken curry, extra hot with fries. We eagerly opened the expected culinary delight, the 1st thing that stood out was the small portion size and the lack of smell - yes smell!! and the anaemic soggy looking chips. From that moment I knew we were in for a bad experience! I was not wrong! Tasteless, no small chillies, hardly any onion, bland curry sauce, a few garden peas. Why on earth peas were included God only knows? We treated the meal as a bush tucker trial and we both managed it! How I don’t know! We awarded ourselves a large glass of wine each which helped to remove any aftertaste. We will NOT be returning anytime soon.

   Really happy with service and food from the Blue Lotus. We emailed a few days before to ask if they could deliver for 12 people on Friday.A real person (not auto reply) got back the next day saying happy to do so and to call them. I sent through our order early as agreed on the call and it was all delivered on time. Loads of delicious food. Thank you Blue Lotus for making my party food stress free.

   Ordered on a busy evening was told clearly it would be no longer than an hour for delivery. Still waiting after an hour and 30 minutes. Have called - apparently it is en route and has been for 20 minutes. We are only 5 minutes from the shop. Lady on the phone was not even very apologetic… It’s a shame … it used to be good before it changed … will use the Golden Bowl in future…
