   The best Indian takeaway in the area. Food is amazing, proper authentic tandoori lamb, chicken & naan breads. Currys are lovely too. Always super polite when you go to collect and even offer you a coffee while you wait. Really good value, big portions but high quality, and they always throw in a free poppadom or two. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

   This seems like a place that has lost its way a little, and other reviews seem to confirm this. Starters, rice, breads etc all of standard quality for a take away. However, the curries themselves were just really bland. Not sure if it’s down to the quality of the spices or chefs not actually ever tasting the food, but at over £30 for a meal for two (and that’s including 10% online discount) I expected more. Very little flavour, to the point where we were adding our own seasonings just to be able to taste something! It’s clear this place has the potential to create good quality, tasty food. But at the moment, it’s just churning out bland and overpriced disappointment.

   Ordered online using their convoluted ordering process. Managed to get a completed other, card charged, however when I arrived there was no sign of my order being taken. I showed them the order on their own website, and the money cleared from my account, I waited a few moments of them going on the back and then I was handed a mobile phone to speak with a random person who claimed that I input my address details wrong (for a collection order) so the money was not taken. I had heard good things about Shabna, but having seen one of the staff members pick a sheek kebab out of the frier basket with his bare hands and put it into a customers container, I'm massively relieved that the other didn't complete. Just checked and they're rated 1 for food hygiene. Absolutely not a surprise at all.

   We were in the area and due to the good star rating walked in to order a takeaway. It was around 5pm on a Monday. I walked in with a smile and a friendly hello! The man taking the orders was so ignorant. Never looked up or returned/acknowledged my greeting and grumbled ‘have you ordered?’ I said no, he fumbled for his pad like I was a total inconvenience! I did an about turn, customer service, or total lack of it means I cannot comment in the curry. Civility costs nothing and this man needs a lesson in manners and customer service. I will never cross that doorstep again and I can see from other reviews I am not the only one. There wasn't an option for zero stars!
