“Helen street chippy is a fantastic chip shop in peel green. Located on the corner on Helen street. Parking is street parking only but I've never had an issue finding a place. The staff are nice. There's a cold drinks fridge at an average price. The chips are lovely. Two types of curry sauce. Always hot and tasty food. Would recommend and I'm a regular customer here”

“Popped in the first time last week, then again this week. Their food especially chips (not fries) are massive and crispy and lovely MUCH better than chip shop ones.. imagine chip shop sized but French crisp fried! All food is clean and hot! (not greasy) properly cooked and delicious. And a breakfast for 5.50 is amazing! My new hangout!”

I live in flats and had come downstairs to collect, he told me next time I don't need to come down and he would bring it to my door which I thought was lovely. “After moving to Manchester, we’ve never found somewhere that does authentic Chinese takeaway food that isn’t super overpriced until TODAY. Delicious food, big portions (be aware of big portions as we ended up with so much food) We ordered on Friday night and the food was ready quicker than expected and still very hot when we got home. We highly recommend crispy duck pancakes and sweet & sour chicken. 10/10 customer service, greeted by a very friendly lady at the shop and we had a quick chat. It was so lovely finding out that we’re supporting a small family owned business. We will definitely be back.”
