   Ordered a child’s meal as needed something quick for our one year old, it was the only place not showing a wait time. After 20 mins I went to check how long it would be, as I stood as the counter there was a guy & lady with their back to me. The lady picked a piece of steak off the grill and dipped it into a pan of peppercorn sauce and ate it then turned around to see me. Told me it’s coming “there’s a 35 minute wait” - would have been helpful to have known this prior to ordering as wasn’t showing it online like everywhere else. Waited another 5 mins, my Mrs went to ask to be told it’s coming. When it came the chips were full of salt. Asked the server who brought it could we get some new chips to be asked “did you ask for no salt online?” Come on, it’s kids meals. Surely it’s common sense to have no salt and if any parents out there want to give their child a large helping of salt they could “opt in” instead? Unexpected wait times happen, I get it - but the lack of genuine customer service is what I always remember. Won’t return.

   I've been eating here since day 1 when the food was genuinely amazing. So, today was especially disappointing. The previously thick, juicy, tasty burger was replaced with a thin, generic burger van patty. Compared to the previous quality, it looked and tasted like a mass-produced, frozen effort. After many years of being a massive fan and promoting them, I won't be eating here again. They've given up on what made them successful and seem to be just taking the money now. Altrincham Market House should replace them ASAP with absolutely anyone with some passion, ambition and drive

   It’s a small thing but maybe update the blackboards a little more if you don’t have what’s on them? Plus ask the chef to order some almond butter as my toast and jam would have been great.

   I’ve been coming here for years and it’s the best and only hanger steak around. The cafe de Paris sauce was insane!!! But the steaks have got smaller and smaller. The chips and sauce always stayed the same. Then today after a few months everything was crap. Below par. Standards massively slipped. The steak gets smaller and smaller every time. The chips were always in a separate bowl but now on the plate to save some pennys. And the sauce…. The main thing the special “hidden” secret cafe de Paris sauce. It was crap, so sooo vinegary. Unfortunately the tender cow has died. I’ve added photos from their 1. social media perception. 2. My gratitude post and 3. today’s measly steak size. Honestly if you’re reading this. Sort yourself it out don’t take the piss and cut corners. Just go and fold if you are!

   I love TC’s burgers! I was really hoping that this would be the same quality as the Tender Cow in Mackie Mayor. Unfortunately, the quality wasn’t as good mid week. The burger was soggy and the chips were over salted. Hoping this was a temporary blip.

   Unfortunately overpriced for an average English breakfast. Was good but for £15 it felt a bit steep... The meat was good quality but just not enough of it. Probably about 15 baked beans in a tiny pot, however Hash brown was amazing can't fault that.

   No customer care, very bad attitude, steak swimming in sauce. Other restaurants would and do welcome feedback. It's how they stay open. Not here. It has good choice of food but the Steak sandwich was smothered in loads of sauce. No one wants 27 tonnes of sauce, you had to find the steak. Way too much sauce, no standards before food sent out. It could have been cardboard, you couldn't taste the meat, which made it pointless. At these prices you hope they had some skills? I took back the food to offer feedback, and they couldn't care. Zero care. They just said ok. And ignored us....No refund, no replacement. In Lisbon we sent back a steak for a similar issue and the owner's came out to thank us, to adapt, to keep customers. A free replacement, and we return lots to that restaurant. No customer ...no business. So we won't go back. Others restaurants would act, welcome feedback and offer some service. Not here. The Market is a bit boring, and very limited breakfast options. A nice cafe is just outside the Market on a corner, so we all use that.
