Had a fantastic evening meal with the family here. The food was delicious, especially the egg fried rice, the best I have had in ages. The crispy duck was also really tasty. The staff were wonderful with the kids, and the service overall was friendly and efficient. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend booking in advance, as it was very busy on Saturday night.

Had the best experience this evening. The staff and Connie in particular are fantastic. They couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome and looked after. Would 100% recommend this restaurant

We had a wonderful evening at Taihing in Urmston. Connie and Vivian looked after us brilliantly – as always, their service was fantastic, attentive, and delivered with a smile. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portion sizes are huge, making it great value for money. Highly recommend – we’ll definitely be back again soon!

We went on Saturday 20th Sept despite the terrible weather. Table for four. The food was amazing as always, great choice starters and mains. I often skip lunch when going here to enjoy the duck and pancakes, as well as a main never disappoints. Fillet steak Cantonese is always a good choice. Great service and kindness . They have added an internal porch to reduce drafts for the winter . Very well tested last night in the weather. Enjoyed the evening thank you

Upon entering we were met by a member of staff informing us that we had to sit where we were told and our table had to be vacated by 7.15pm (Booking was 5.30) The table was near the door which was draughty and the layout of the tables were too confined, they struggled to fit the food order on the table. The main course we choose was very nice. When we requested the dessert menu we were informed that there was no desserts tonight because they were too busy. As restaurants go, very poor no atmosphere and not a relaxing experience. Shall not be returning.

We went in there last night, the starters were OK and to be fair the mains were very good. BUT the service was terrible, the seating arrangements were I could only describe as sat in a school canteen. The waitress seem to be constantly arguing with other staff at the top of her voice over our table. The price for the awful atmosphere and horrific seating arrangements was ridiculous and high end dining prices!! We are talking £10 for prawn toast, over £30 for a combination starter for 2, all while sat in what can only be described as the most uncomfortable, most unsociable seating arrangements possible. We ordered five bowls of rice and got one large bowl between 10 of us, which due to the seating arrangements was a nightmare. We tried to get dessert for the kids and after waiting nearly 40 mins for ice cream gave up. By the time we were leaving there were six other dining tables in our side alone, sat full to the brim with people crowded round these tiny school tables, all with faces of thunder, with no food, no drinks and no room to move, I literally had a man just stood behind me in-between the tables for the last 1hr as they didn't have anywhere to sit! Everything about the meal was hardwork, we wont be returning!!

Food was disgusting, spring rolls too hard, unsure of what was in them and no dipping sauce even when asked for and told it was in the bag. Sweet and sour chicken was like shoe leather - tough and tasteless. The chicken curry had more onions than chicken, the chicken was cut into very thin strips and not enough of them, not even sure it was proper chicken, the curry sauce was unpleasant to eat. Boiled rice carton was not full. Food was cold....ended up throwing most of it away. Cost just under £20, poor quality...won't be going to this takeaway again
