Was always a good chippy , not had many owners over the years. I detect it is open for less hours these days probably because small businesses are not getting the help that they need. So when it does open it can be busy. They handle the customers pretty quick , but I can't help but feel that Fish and Chips is now so expensive that not many shops will survive in the long run. Hard to park does not help this one , but I have never had a poor fish from here and that for me is the bench mark.

Wife went for fish and chips for us all checked on their website and it said shut 20.30. She arrived 2 minutes past 8 and the shutters were half down so I phoned and told them she was outside and it says 20.30. Was told they changed the time to 20.00 but didn't even offer to serve my Mrs who was stood at the door. Always lovely food but poor customer service so will be going elsewhere from now on. Been going here for donkeys years, also they havnt changed the time on their website.
Fish is nice and crispy. You get top service every time you go. The staff are very helpful and polite. lovely food every time. They cater for vegans and gluten free too.
Always brilliant. Busy tonight, but there's plenty of staff to keep the queue moving. Fish and chips, sausage and chips, curry sauce, a barm and a small portion for the kids. Friday night feast.
Genuinely some of the best fish and chips I've had and it's consistently this good every time I go. The mushy peas and tartar sauce are a little pricey but worthwhile additions too.
I brought chippy lunch yesterday really good crispy battered cod and chips nice and fresh. good service. Also the tray and forks were recyclable.
