First time here and the food was gorgeous it was just lovely. What we liked was the portion sizes, they were huge compared to a lot of other restaurant's. We took what was left home. The naan bread was baked to perfection not too hard or like cardboard. The coleslaw that you get with the papadums is the tastiest that I have ever eaten anywhere (period). Well done we will be back. Oh, I nearly forgot but the young girls waiting staff were so polite and hard working. Thank you. Update!! We have now tried a takeaway meals. Although a little expensive compared to my local Indian establishments this restaurant can not be beaten for portion sizes and the sheer quality of the food. It is so good with plenty of meat that one wonders if this will subside, hopefully not. Consequently we don't mind paying extra for quality. Keep up the good work guys and you will always be in business.

My partner and I walked in early for food, never been before. The service was excellent and the food the same, full of flavour, and plenty. Hot, and tasty.. reasonable priced too.. After the meal after eight and irsh whisky cream.. icing on the cake..

First time eating a Neel Paneer and will definitely be returning. Delicious food and lovely staff. Large portion sizes meant we had some to take home to enjoy the next day!

Tried here for a change. Ordered poppadoms, jalfrezi, madras and tikka massalla takeaway. Meat and Paneer were good, however all the sauces had a sweet and out of a jar like consistency, which was really off putting, plus it was quite expensive compared to other places we have tried. Poppadom sauces and chutneys were the same, or watery. Definitely won't be using again.

A busy weekend visit for a pre-booked dinner for two having been recommended by a work colleague. Very friendly attentive staff, fabulous food and good atmosphere. The menu is excellent with something for all tastes and appetites and great authentic flavours. Two draught Cobra beers of which one was Malabar IPA (fantastic). One of the best Indian dinners we’ve had for some time. We will definitely return very soon.

Went here tonight for a family meal for my 60th birthday and Xmas. The food was fabulous, the staff were amazing, nothing was to much trouble for Mo and his Team. Taz kept us topped up with food, the young man taking drinks orders was so on the ball and polite and friendly. Meals came out and delivered efficiently to the right people, no confusion, no fuss. Went smoothly and was a fab night. I cant wait to book for Xmas next year, definitely made a change to my boxing day routine. Thank you Mo to you and your fabulous team for making my night special. Xxx

Definitely will not be returning only 2 other tables occupied but such a long wait to even take the order on a Thursday night! When the two curry dishes arrived they were full of oil and tasteless when we told the staff they thought taking it and adding some ‘powder’ to them that this would rectify it! We literally ate a popadom each and abit of rice so were happy to pay for what we ate only, the little bar man decided to argue with me telling me about the curry which I cook on a regular basis and can do a lot better! After a 10 minute back and forth bicker the manager came and agreed to not charge for the non eaten curries! Would not recommend at all left hungry and annoyed!!

When you are welcomed like family. This is our go to place to eat in the village and we are welcomed with open arms, thanks Mo. I have never seen Neel empty!! The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food is plentiful and delicious. What can I say. Don't change, you are doing things just right. Thanks to Dutch Courage Sale also for supporting local business. Pics are half Korma and Tikka Massage and a Tandoori Mixed Grill with Vegetable side sauce.
