The staff were really nice, but good lord the foods bad. The sign outside says best Sunday roast in town, but it was probably the worst I've had in my life. The roast potatoes were barely cooked inside and weren't crispy at all. The gravy was applied with what I assume was a small paint brush. Fairly sure it all came out of a microwave.

Wednesday evening dead, no staff, single server was uninterested and dismissive but food was of good quality and prepared well. Thursday morning breakfast was better with good staff levels and good service. Wide range of breakfast items.

Good food at reasonable prices, come during the week (12-6pm) for the 2 mains special offer. Amazing value for money.

Although this place is large, it was very quiet during the school holidays. There is a ball pit play area seating next to it. So you can watch while eating if you have children. The food was not great, but I did the job. Standard taste and presentation. If you have a bonus card, you can get 30% off the bill. Staff is not very friendly, no smiles welcoming, or checking on customers to see if everything was OK. Must have been short staffed. The table across from me was left with mountains of dirty dishes and flies gathering because it was left the whole entire time we were having our dinner. It was not busy either. Children in the play area are not watched properly by some parents had to go have a word with one parent because child was being rough and bullying other children.

Great place to hangout and for dinner in a quaint little town. The staff is really helpful and the food was promptly delivered. They try to accommodate every food choice of the customers so highly recommended.

Breakfast was rather a shambles. Took ages despite having booked a table an hour before end of service. No bread for toast, no mugs for coffee, no fruit juice left, ran out of pretty much everything! Queued for everything and waited ages for the cooked breakfast which was in all fairness nicely cooked once it arrived but was missing the black pudding we'd ordered.

We visited this establishment with a couple of friends from Urmston. It was our first time there and I must say, I was very impressed with the whole evening. The bar staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and very well mannered. The drinks service was quick and prompt, as was the food service. There wasn't a long wait despite it being pretty busy and our food was brought piping hot to the table by waiting staff with equally excellent service, manners and attitude. One particular member of staff stood out. A charming lady by the name of Rachael who couldn't do enough for us. It made the whole night very enjoyable and I would recommend this place to anybody. We will definitely be going there again. Sooner rather than later I hope.

Having had a previous bad experience here we gave it another chance. So pleased we did got the lunch specials 2 eggs 3,sausage chips and beans, and fish and chips the fish was about a good size well cooked and batter crisp had caramel apple Betty and custard and chocolate brownie for dessert with unlimited soft drinks bill was just over £20 excluding tips service was great. Cheaper than a takeaway and no washing up.
