   We only order delivery or pick up, so I can't say much about the sit-down service, but the atmosphere is pleasant. The food is phenomenal and always scorching hot, extremely reasonably priced for the quality, and we've always been greeted warmly. One of the few places in the area that does paneer as a main dish, which is a big plus in our veggie family!

   I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel like I need to say this. I used to come to Purple Lounge every 1–2 weeks last year with my wife. We would easily spend around £120 each visit because we really enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service. Recently I came back and it just isn’t the same. The food quality has dropped and the vibe has gone. The same staff are still here, but it’s like they’ve changed — everyone seems all over the place and the service isn’t organised anymore. It used to feel welcoming and smooth, now it feels rushed and a bit careless. The restaurant still looks luxury, but the presentation, music and overall experience don’t match the look anymore. It used to be busy, lively and had a great atmosphere, now it just feels flat. It’s a shame because this was one of my favourite places. Unless things improve, I won’t be returning. If it helps food still tastes alright it would be a good takeaway now I’d say.

   We have eaten in here a few times over the years, and we ate in here recently for first time in a few years.. Food is lovely, no complaints and service is fast. We just felt like the staff couldnt be arsed to serve us. Not sure if its because we had a young child. No service with a smile, no chit chat, no warm welcome... it just felt like the wanted us in and out. Noticed when a big party came in, they were all over it, smiles and welcoming.... weird.

   I had one of the worst dining experiences ever at Purple Lounge. From start to finish, the service was horrendous and the food was a complete letdown. The steak I ordered was so bland and flavorless that I couldn’t even eat it — I left it untouched on the plate. The only thing I ate were the chips, and even those were soft, soggy, and unpleasant. When I raised my concerns with the waiter, he didn’t care at all and did nothing to resolve the issue. To make matters worse, we had to ask for basic cutlery, and instead of helping us respectfully, the waiter was rude and sarcastic. He said, “I already gave it to you, where is it then?” as if we were being difficult. Then he returned with about ten knives and forks, in a mocking and disrespectful way, which was extremely unprofessional and unnecessary. The overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming, the staff lacked any sense of customer service, and the food was way below standard. I left feeling frustrated, hungry, and disappointed. I would never recommend Purple Lounge to anyone. If you’re looking for good food, respectful service, or even just a basic dining experience, this is definitely not the place. I will never come back here again.

   This was a week day visit . Its has very nice decor and being a Wednesday was not at all busy . We had onion barghi for starters and poppodoms with dips . My partner had a chicken chili balti ..i had the seafood medley and garlic nan . But i do feel the seafood medley was ok ish but not impressed with the price of it at £16.95 was not worth the money to be honest . The total bill was almost £58 with just one pint of beer and one small glass of wine was a little on the expensive side .. lots of room to park if need be . But this is only a ten minute walk for us .

   Recently celebrated my sons birthday here with family. We all thought that the food was absolutely delicious and it also looked great. We all had different dishes and they came out presented differently in lovely silver or clay pots which was a lovely little touch. Really friendly staff and decor is quite cool

   Fantastic place! Sorry I needed to edit my review after reading some of the WRONG REVIEWS GIVEN !! The Service and food here is second to none! My family and I have visited this restaurant over 10 times this year ! The staff are attentive and polite, If you want cheaper alternative food it's probably best you look for a butty van on an industrial estate! Thanks Purple Lounge Team !!!

   Absolutely amazing experience from food, decor, ambiance and such friendly and lovely staff. Different areas of seating. Helped us decide on the dish we would enjoy. Tailored the spice to our liking. Available parking infront and good variety on the menu. Definitely worth a visit, you won't be disappointed.
