   Loved this place, first visit and I'll definitely be back. Good beer, food and atmosphere. Very olde worlde christmassy. Traditional English pub food, done really well. Good portion sizes, well cooked and good value for money for this high quality. Range of traditional beers and larger. The usual spirits and wines. lovely surroundings and location. Highly recommended.

   Very dissatisfied with service and food. A previous visit was excellent so decided to bring my nephew for his birthday lunch. Big mistake, unhelpful staff, food order was not correct. The table still had dirty used crockery from previous diners. Had to ask twice for a member of staff to remove them. This was ignored on both occasions, they still did not remove them even when our food was served, so had to dine with someone else’s dirty pots on our table. Would not visit again or recommend to anyone.

   Wow what a place! Brought my grandma here for a lunch out and we had a fantastic time. The staff really went above and beyond (ladies serving on Tuesday 2nd December for our reservation at 12.30pm). They helped my grandma pick the right size portion and we both just had a really lovely time. Honestly one of the nicest places I’ve ever been to in terms of atmosphere, food and service. Thank you! We’ll definitely come back

   I recently visited Worsley Old Hall in Manchester and it really is a special place. The building itself is stunning, full of history and character, with beautiful old features that give it a unique charm. What makes it even better are the large grounds surrounding the hall – there’s so much space to walk around, relax and take in the scenery. It feels peaceful and open, almost like you’ve stepped out of the city into the countryside, with plenty of outdoor seating and garden areas that are perfect for a drink or meal on a sunny day. Inside, it’s cosy and welcoming, with a warm atmosphere and a good balance of traditional style and comfort. The food was delicious, well presented and with a nice choice of dishes, from classic pub favourites to more refined meals. The drinks selection was impressive too, especially the range of real ales and wines. Service was excellent – the staff were friendly, polite and attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly even though it was quite busy. Yes, the prices are a little higher than your average pub, but the overall experience makes it worthwhile. Between the history of the hall, the big open grounds, the comfortable atmosphere and the great food and service, Worsley Old Hall is definitely worth a visit. Whether you’re coming for a meal, a few drinks, or just to enjoy a walk in the gardens, it’s a place that leaves a lasting impression.

   I haven't been here for several years, had many special occasion birthday meals in the past. Booked a table for an office evening meal and we were all very pleasantly pleased with the delicious food. The high standards haven't changed, excellent food, friendly staff and a delightful warm welcoming pub. Thankyou for a great evening.

   Absolutely lovely pub, very nice exterior and interior. Made a last minute decision to come for Sunday roast, and despite the restaurant being fully booked, they were more than happy to accommodate us in the bar area. Food came out fairly quickly and it was absolutely delicious. A decent sized portion and every part of it was tasty! Will definitely come again to try other items on the menu.

   Beautiful building, lovely staff. Not many vegan options, salad or curry. I opted for the curry which I thoroughly enjoyed. Then the Apple and blackberry compote. Much tastier than I expected.
