   Brilliant chippy, top notch, staff was lovely very chatty ordered myself a fish, chips & gravy, for only £9.90 definitely worth every penny and the best around! Get very big portions of chips, definitely won’t be left hungry after eating from here top quality !!!!!

   Fabulous fresh, tasty and hot food. Ordered via Just Eat, which I will never do again as the drivers failed to collect. Eventually went to collect ourselves after owner had tried to resolve with Just Eat. He also sorted a full refund for us and kept us up to date with what was going on. All that aside the food was amazing and can highly recommend both the fish and fish cakes. Definitely will use again but via their own website.

   Manchester Road Chippy is an absolute gem! The food is always delicious and perfectly cooked, but what really makes the experience stand out are Lydia and Phoebe. They are fantastic at their jobs—friendly, efficient, and always with a smile that brightens your visit. Their dedication and great service truly deserve recognition, and honestly, they should both get a raise for the amazing work they do. If you're in the area, this chippy is a must-visit!

   I went in with a fairly large order for work and have to say the service was excellent. We were served by a really nice guy who was both fast, polite and helpful. I personally got the lunch deal 1 (sausage, chips, gravy, drink) which was good value for money and what you would expect from a standard fish and chip shop. I would like to see a bit more variety with the meal deal options but it is what it is. A lot of people that I work with rave about this place, my experience was that it was exactly what you would expect from a fish and chip shop. I would go again, but should probably try something like the fish to really see what the quality is like, because my meal was difficult to be anything other than expected. Overall a good first visit, would definitely try again.

   Nice sevice. Amazing food and the staff are brilliant.. thank for the good food and service.. The wounderfull ladies are so good that you always see them smiling and cheefull. Wish every work place is like that.. thank you so much Helen ,jess and last but not lease one and only chelsea love you xx and thank you once again.. i think there deserve more then 5 star atleast 10 star..lol or is that too much.. thank and keep it up ladies.

   Ordered food told no steak puddings for 20 mins. Changed my order to accommodate that. Four customers waiting for their orders in the shop having paid, and told fresh chips were being cooked, which was fair enough, when an Uber driver came in with an order and that took priority over customers waiting in the shop. Once that order went out, we then were told they were very sorry but we would have to wait for a fresh batch to be cooked as they had only put two fryers on. Entered the shop At 6pm finally got my order at 6.40pm. Totally unacceptable in my opinion. Asked if Uber orders take preference over customers attending the shop in person and was told this was the case.
