Not foodie quality. I always seek a great Sunday roast. I saw the pictures and reviews but was disappointed with the meal. Ingredients were good but very amateurish and unskilled preparation. No carmelization on meat or veggies. Simply boiled and served. Meh. Not a good value. Disappointed.

First time visiting and I have to say it was outstanding. Even though it was busy the service was first class, very attentive and the food was to die for. Definitely our number one place to visit from now on.

We had a meal here on Saturday night to celebrate Mothers Day with the in-laws. We cannot fault anything. Service was spot on, the food was incredible, and the drinks menu was great. I had the prawn salad to start and the lamb for main. All perfect. My wife is a vegetarian and was very pleased with everything on offer. I generally find beers in restaurants are very average on choice, and especially draught beer in restaurants to be flat, or not poured correctly, but I was in for a surprise. Not just the fact they had Neck Oil on the menu on draught, but it was a very good pint. If I had to give 6 stars I would. Very impressed.

Coffee stop review only but still.. a few red flags for us unfortunately.. When entering there is no real guidance as to whether or not you just take a seat, but we caught the attention of one of the members of staff who ultimately guided us to a table near the back or the Cafe. It was definitely a different feel in the back of the Cafe to the front, felt a little tired and forgotten. No menu's on any of the tables but that was fine for us we knew what we wanted. X2 Hazelnut Lattes ordered. The 2 Hazelnut Lattes were completely different. First was strong, dark, with the expected Hazelnut flavour. Too strong for my partner but fine for me, so down to preference I suppose. Second was overly sweet with Hazelnut syrup so much so you lost the latte taste. Noticeably different drinks, although the same so we shared. Finer details.. Glasses weren't filled to the same level picture to show the difference. Noticeably different in colour which I can only but down to the strength of one. I tried to do my best with the picture on this. No fancy thing on the top.. Come on.. you know we love this! We also weren't sure about how the service worked. We left the empty glasses at the end of the table for a notable period of time before we made the decision to approach and pay at the bar. Just a coffee visit but it was all just a little bit of a let down and rather underwhelming overall. Response from the owner, but as with any personal reviews this is our take beginning to end. Based on previous responses we were awaiting something of a similar nature. Response from the owner 18 minutes ago Sorry about the coffees. Did you mention it to member of staff? Imguessing not as would would have done something about it if you had. By the way were not a cafe. Were a restaurant who serve some of the best food in the area. There are a couple of other great cafes for coffee in the village for you next time you visit.
