   1st time ordering off Glossop Eats. Had a 20% offer on so we ordered a varietyoff food e.g. chicken burgers (fussy kid gave it 9 out of 10!!), a mixed madras which was spicy but not too spicy as a madras shouks be and a mega kebab. Food came quickly and was hot. One criticism was that I asked for no donner on the notes but that was ignored, but it was actually quite tasty donner meat! For my fussy kids to rate a place is a great accomplishment!

   Always had fantastic meals from here but ordered Monday night (23rd Dec) & meal was a real disappointment. Sauces much spicier, veg not fresh(looked frozen) & rice must have been cooked day before. Is our favourite takeaway normally. Hope was a one off.

   I used to live in Glossop, at a time when the Raj Gourmet brought something completely new to local curries. Every time I go back I hope it won't have lost its magic. All the curries here are completely different, so I can never decide and usually go for two very different dishes. Tonight I went for prawn pathia, chicken moglai, mushroom rice, and paratha. The pathia has lots of slivers of green chillis - eat them and it's deliciously vindaloo strength, leave them and it' a really good, rich sweet & sour curry. The moglai is smooth, indulgent, and nutty without the annoying sweetness of lots of similar curries. (The portions are still huge, so I'll be eating this tomorrow too). How they've managed to sustain the quality without increasing the prices, I don't know, but I love this place.

   Delicious authentic 'indian' food prepared by Bangladeshi cooks, this takeaway creates dishes that are the equal of any top restaurants. Every meal is cooked to order, piping hot, and is guaranteed to bring a smile to your tastebuds!

   In my opinion, the best takeaway Indian cuisine in glossop. Friendly staff and reasonably proce delicious food. We don't get takeout Indian food from anywhere else in Glossop.

   First time we've tried Raj Gourmet & we are very disappointed. Ordered 2 passanda curries but full of dessicated coconut more like a korma. Poor quality chicken too. Will not be going there again. Will stick to Spice Bistro or Taj Baltic for delivery.

   I have always used Tandoori king, but as I now need to find a new takeaway, thought I would try Raj Gourmet, poppadoms, onions,mango chutney followed by Chicken Biryani. It wasn't inedible, just lacking in flavour. Back to the drawing board
