   Very sketchy place as we ordered online and received confirmation of payment. 5 mins later they called us to claim they weren’t paid and wanted us to pay again with cash even after telling them we had proof funds had left our bank?! They then claimed those funds would be returned within 3-5 days…after we paid again?!? Crazy unethical and unprofessional so we just went elsewhere…and you may want to as well!

   Been going to china moon since I was 17 I'm now 34 and won't be going any more , nearly 2 hours for our order , everything was just so salty , it's gone down hill massively,the last twice we got the salt and pepper box and that was really salty so we thought maybe it's the salt and pepper box , ordered something different really salty and bad quality, I don't know if someone has taken over or a different chef but it's absolutely shocking how bad it is

   Ordered food and when it came i tried it and almost threw up everywhere all I can taste on the noodles is Pure salt same with the beef and I ordered egg fried rice and received plain rice them with the chicken and sweetcorn soup it was taste less and made me feel incredibly ill. Wasted my money.

   All going in the bin. Chips were inedible. Curry saturated with a layer of oil and the chicken was just gristle. Egg fried rice and chicken fried rice burnt and crispy bits and overcooked, absolutely disgusting and wouldn't feed this to my dog. Contacted restaurant to resolve issues (we've ordered before and it's been ok) all they said was that it's because it took a while to get to us. Will not be ordering again and wouldn't feed this to a dog. Highly recommended to go elsewhere and avoid China Moon.

   Absolutely disgusting!! The food and the price is horrendous spent £19.70 on chicken omelette and found countless bits of egg shell in the omelette! And the chips had some sort seasoning on them supposed to be "salt and pepper chips" tasted nothing like salt and pepper chips and paid £4!! The "chicken" chow mein ", the chicken was rubbery and fatty and the amount of salt added to the noodles was unbelievable! Will never order from here again

   Used to be the best Chinese in Barnsley and we ordered regular. Last night, we decided to treat ourselves. The food came piping hot which is good however, In the early hours me and my husband have been violently sick to the point neither of us could get out of bed. I have never felt so badly in my life. We paid over £30 to be sick to the point we couldn’t move. We used to be regular customers but, never ever again

   China moon Barnsley tonight I got a takeaway for the family after a long day on approach it looks closed and when I went in no dining in but looks like they use to I gave my order the server was polite and friendly the food did not take long to cook so not waiting long at all got home plated up and it was really good lots of flavour good portions definitely will be going there again congratulations you scored 3 star 1 star for customer service 1 star for food quality and one star for speed of service 2 stars were lost for shop presentation and terrible signs needs replacing but that should not stop none from trying China moon

   Just take care when ordering from here! I ordered food last night at tea time, 13 hours later I am violently Sick constantly, all I had in the 24 hours prior to eating this was toast and soup. Contacted just eat and had to report to the FSA. I’m not one to bad mouth but I’ve never been this unwell for years.
