Rather than buy a breakfast in town we waited a bit later and checking on line we saw it opened at 11. Called in just after 11am but he said food would only be ready around 12 We has a wonder around and went back In and has 3 curries on rice for Β£8.00 each. Delicious hot and plenty of it They allow you to pay later and if you can pay these guys cash with a tip too 5 out of 5 across the board but can l please make a little suggestion? For hygiene please look at supplying z fold paper towels in the toilet as that towel hanging up.was really dirty. If you dont like paper waste then face cloth size towels that can be used and put in a basket to be washed is a good way of giving customers their own towel Thankyou and see you again

Best curry’s in the city centre by a mile. Always friendly people and good portion sizes. The meat melts in your mouth and the flavours are wonderful. I’m always on the lookout for authentic food and this place ticks all the boxes.

We had an absolutely wondertul dining experience, especially , Saman. She was incredibly welcoming from the moment we sat down. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive. Saman had the perfect balance of being attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant is lucky to have such a dedicated and professional staff member. We'll definitely be back.

Tasty food, would have given 5 stars. But they charged me in euros instead of pounds which cost me an extra 2€. Without asking, not ok.

Rice and Three Curries Β£8! I have been to quite a few Rice & 3 spots around Manchester and this takes the number 1 spot. Firstly it gets 5 / 5 on the food hygiene rating and has been around for 30 years. Really convenient location for Northern Quarter and Picadilly area and although there are only four tables in the restaurant when we went at lunchtime there was one available and most people take the food away with them. Really generous portion size and everything is made fresh order, so although it does take a little bit longer to serve the food, you know everything is cooked fresh

Nice family run curry house. Has a tandoor so the naan is the best of all around town. This and kabana for me.

This is by far one of the best hidden Gem’s in Manchester. Don’t judge it by it’s location or looks. Everything is homemade and fresh so give yourself some time. Seating is restricted to around 8 - 10 people maximum 2 per table but if your group can’t fit then get takeout and sit somewhere like Piccadilly Gardens and enjoy. This is not to be missed. I’ve been going for about 10 years or more and can’t find anything else that quite hits the spot. This n That come very close ( if you know where they are ) but not quite. If you’re getting takeaway and plan on catching a train give yourself an additional 45 mins. I usually call on my motorbike as I can just about park outside however the side street is very narrow so walking is advised.

I work in Manchester and recently came across Cafe Marhaba after recommendations from colleagues. What a fantastic little place, it may be hidden away and not look too much from the outside, but I got a warm and friendly welcome when I entered, the food was all fresh and my Chicken Tikka kebab (including homemade Naan) was all cooked in front of me, portion sizes were spot on and was very reasonably priced for the middle of the city centre. Highly recommended, I will definitely be back to try the 3 curries and rice.

Ridiculously wonderful food. No frills just lovingly well produced extremely flavoursome dishes. Real home made street food without the marketing. Family run tiny curry restaurant that puts effort into every dish everyday. Basic space, magnificent food. How I like it.
