The food was very lovely, and enough without feeling bloated! Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful when they didn't have any herbal tea.

An unassuming restaurant amongst the Barlow moor road parade with some strong competition, yet still stands out. A relaxing energy as you walk in. We visited on a Monday night so it was quiet, and music was playing at a suitable level to allow full conversation. There was a fragrant smell which caught my attention (clean and flowery as opposed to kitchen and food smells). The highlight for us was the food. Every dish was delicious, we had three starters full of flavour, two incredibly rich curries with naan as a side and popadoms to start. Service was very good. I believe it was Mahir who served us. He was exceptionally polite, gentle and friendly. The food came in perfect timing right as our appetites reached a climax. There is an optional service charge automatically added to your bill at the end. The restaurant is delicately decorated in a contemporary style. The bathroom was very nicely decorated, with a slight rustic feel, and was clearly well looked after by the staff. We did feel like the food was expensive, at just under Β£40 a head for 1.5 starters, curry and naan (+optional service charge). We went on a whim so perhaps were looking for something less pricey (and exciting), so I may replace the fifth star on further reflection. Overall, fantastic restaurant with delicious, rich food and a lovely inviting and unhurried ambience.

A lovely Indian. It has a smaller menu, but everything we tried was delicious. The small plates were the highlight, we shared 3 between 4 of us and both chaat dishes were my personal favourites. The staff were very friendly and genuinely engaged with us, chatting about our meal and evening. We visited during the January 25% off offer but would happily return at full price. Highly recommend booking in advance!

Indian Affair is hands down my favourite spot for Indian food in Chorlton - I come here regularly and always leave full & happy. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. My go-to order is Butter Chicken with their garlic naan and perfectly cooked pilau rice. The Lamb Nihari is another favourite - rich, tender and a great portion size! And if you love street food-style starters, the Samosa Chaat is a must-try. On top of the amazing food, the prices are really reasonable for the quality you get. Whether youβre dining in or getting a takeaway, you wonβt be disappointed. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Really tasty food, packed full of flavour - everything we ordered was delicious. Good service and reasonably priced. If weβre going to be very picky, weβd have liked bigger portions of rice but canβt fault the quality of food. Very yummy. Will definitely be going back!

This is the best Indian we've had in Chorlton so far. The venue is elegant. The food is a mix of small plates and curries. We had lamb chops and spinach fritters followed by butter chicken and paneer lababdaar. We would order them all again. The chicken was top quality bits of meat. The curries were slightly spicier than some albeit my partner managed to enjoy them with a low heat tolerance. Super super tasty, wouldn't change a thing! Garlic naan and pilau rice were great. I expected the naan to be small in this type of place and it was. Maybe my least favourite dish was the spinach fritters. The place is quite new so the owner came around and spoke to us and other tables. We'll be back!

It was my first time having North Indian food in Manchester. We were three and ordered dum murg biriyani, butter naan with malai kofta, mango cardamom lassi, papad and chutney. All of them were worth buying, and I personally loved the Malai Kofta very much. The total cost was less than Β£45! The ambience was elegant, and the crockery was excellent. The place also has good washrooms. Everything was beautifully arranged.

Visited on opening weekend- delicious authentic food and cocktails, and so reasonably priced! A nice touch with the Indian gins too. Great to have a new Indian restaurant in South Manchester, Iβll definitely be back to try out more dishes! Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and parking was easy on nearby residential streets- not too far to walk which was ideal!
