Fantastic food, one of my favourites for sure, id order way more if they delivered! but its always really really good.
The lady behind the counter was lovely and the chippy itself looked clean and tidy. I ordered chicken fried rice, the chicken was lovely and white but it was extremely salty. I couldn’t finish it.
Nice food though not outstanding. The vegetarian meals in particular could be more flavoursome.
Served food (salt and pepper box) wasn't fresh - chicken was really old with weird consistency. Chow mein wasn't as bad but definitely contained too much onions which were burnt and the beef in it really unwell prepared. Can't really recommend the place..
Well what a shame after years and years of going here it has changed hands they guy that run it was so friendly never got your order wrong. But now the new people in charge forget half your order and when you do get it, it's absolutely disgusting had it the other night and it went straight into the bin tasted awful will not be going here again !
After decades of coming here, this place seems to have finally changed hands, and there's big differences, they seem to have changed everything, the chicken is chewy, the curry is too thick & doesn't smell very nice, but it's got a good kick, the rice is like a dark brown colour/almost black, and I had to wait half an hour just for a basic meal. Last time for me I'm sorry to say, this ship has sunk.
