“My favourite Chinese in the Wigan/ Springfield/beech hill area. The salt and pepper dishes are so goo!, just the right amount of everything, not too spicy or salty. The salt and pepper boxes are delicious too!! The foo yung is very good, prawn toasts and the spring rolls. They do so many dishes and variations with different types of meats and seafood , there is something for everybody. Service is quick for delivery and if you're waiting to collect. Staff are nice, friendly and attentive, both at front of house and in the kitchen.”

“This was the best Chinese meal we have had in a long time. The food was not only hot and very fresh but absolutely delicious. With so many restaurants to choose from these days, it can be hard to suss out the good from the bad. I can definitely recommend Mr Wang and his staff (if indeed there is a Mr Wang) for a wonderful meal in a very convivial atmosphere. (Ladies, do you like the hand-basins in the loo? Maybe the boys have them too but I really liked the decor!) We had complimentary prawn crackers served with a plum dipping sauce on the table whilst we chose our food. Crispy chicken slivers in a chilli and honey sauce, crispy duck in plum sauce, a side of plain noodles and egg fried rice complemented this. The portion sizes are very generous and our meal could easily have fed three people adequately. Wait till you see the bill! Having been used to overpriced Chinese meals in the past I couldn’t get over the one we had. Cannot beat this place. Great food. Friendly staff. Loved it!”

“I ordered Special Fried Rice, Curry Sauce, Salt and Pepper Chips, and a Mixed Veg and Singapore Veg Vermicelli for my veggie Mrs. It all arrived early, was piping hot, and absolutely delicious. My Mrs has some allergies and spoke to the restaurant and they were super helpful. All in all it's now our go to Chinese in Wigan ❤️”

“Delicious as always. Big order on new year's eve as we done our own Chinese buffet. Not one item missing. Food piping hot and just delicious. Recommend the salt and pepper chicken balls but I would suggest ordering a side of barbecue sauce. Plenty of left overs for another delicious meal on the 2nd January. I think if more people who were happy with their food actually found time to leave a review this place would be close to 5 stars!!”

“After the demise of the great Happy Valley in Aspull, we were left searching for good "non standard" Chinese takeaway. Then we found Lams in Arlington. Which sadly closed in January. Again leaving in search of the holy grail. It's about a 12-13 min drive to the golden dragon, so not exactly local but we have no good options anymore around Blackrod. I tried this place because of the good reviews on Google. I can honestly say this place is amazing. It has competitive pricing and everything was really good quality. Also the portion sizes were really large. We had the fried combo starter, which was really good. Beef satay, fried rice, chips and crackers. Was absolutely phenomenal. We found our new non-local, local takeout. Highly recommend.”

“Highly recommended! We've been going here about 20 years and it's always been owned and run by the same family. The chips are the best we have found locally. We have had numerous Chinese dishes over the years but my favourite is still the Curries chicken. Yeah its a bit boring but it's so tasty!”
