Picked a random chippy was very apprehensive but was surprised at the portion size and flavour really good will defo go again if I'm in the area
First time trying and was recommended by many people in the stannington group and I’m glad they did. Cooked perfectly and fresh lovely chips no black bits and the BEST curry sauce we have had NOT runny at all. Perfect chippy Thanku Nosh chippy
First time visit here and the chips are very moreish! Think they were cooking new potatoes (as chippys used to say) they were probably the best locally I've had for a long time. Certainly better than our last lot from the chip shop by the River Side ;) which were old, cheap potatoes full of black 'eyes'
Been going here nearly all my life and it’s the best fish and chips shop in Sheffield. I’ve always had fish and chips and they have always been amazing. Now I’ve started having chicken nuggets and the nuggets are so delicious, warm and fresh. I love going here and so does all my family. The owner is amazing, so kind and welcoming!!!
Fish and Chips were truly amazing, Sam was chatty and let me eat inside as it was bucketing down. Will be back.

Lovely fish and chips I had from here. Would definitely recommend.
Had chips and potato scallops from here and it was like going back in time to when most chip shops produced lovely traditional chips; properly cooked, not pasty and not fat. Sadly, it just highlights the problem, it is time for a Campaign for Real Chips. Until that gets organised (may be it already has?) you need to make a trip to this chippy.
My Wife is a diagnosed Coeliac and wasn't able to enjoy fish and chips for a long time, Stanwood cater amazingly to her and now they have GF sausage it's hard to keep her away! On top of that, their regular fish and chips are excellent - the best in Sheffield definitely! Can't recommend enough.
