   This is the second time we have ordered from here and can say this is definitely one of the best in town for authentic, North Indian cuisine. Lovely staff, they were about to close the kitchen but waited for us to take a last order. Beautiful restaurant, will have to come back to dine in next time. Highly recommend.

   One of the nicest Indian restaurants I’ve been too! The food is so tasty and fresh, you can tell it’s been freshly prepared and they even ask you what spice level you would like. The service was very friendly and attentive. Good portion sizes and reasonable prices. Highly recommend the Pani puri/Dahi puri to start! Definitely with a visit here!

   SOMETHING DIFFERENT FOR SUNDAY LUNCH! Urban Choola are now serving their traditional Indian Thali for lunch on Saturdays & Sundays between 1pm – 4pm. A feast for any Indian food lover, a joyful celebration of Indian home cooking, and certainly a Sunday lunch with a twist! Choose from a Vegetable or Chicken Thali at £18, or Lamb for £20 per person – for a very filling lunch! We enjoyed; Lamb Thali; Lamb Rogan Josh, Dhal Makhani, Aloo Palak, Vegetable Samosa with basmati rice & breads️ Chicken Thali; Butter Chicken Masala, Tarka Dhal, Spiced Vegetables, Onion, Kale & Spinach Bhaji with pilau rice & breads️ Kulfi & Mango Lassi to share afterwards Gin Bramble cocktail Wow. This was Ben’s first experience of a Thali and he was overjoyed with the amount of food, and the options served between us. Everything was delicious. Be sure to let the staff know if you like spicy food or have a particular style of curry you really enjoy or want to try, the dishes are thoughtfully selected to appeal to everybody but they are very accommodating too. We loved being able to try each other’s food and enjoyed the social aspect to it too.

   First visit to Urban Choola - everything was perfect. Modern and comfortable surroundings, good vibe and the crucial bit - the food - outstanding. Everything is cooked fresh to order, the chicken was so tender (we shared a butter chicken and a palak chicken). The service from all the staff was excellent. Jay was very friendly and talked us through items on the menu. Disappointed in myself that I haven’t discovered this sooner. Can’t speak highly enough of the experience 10/10

   Had a great dinner here, was rated highly on trip advisor so went along for the first time in two years. Was excellent quality, good portion sizes and good speed of service. Some good Indian lager on draught too. Would revisit and was reasonable value for money too which was a bonus. Close enough to Banner Cross to have a couple in the Dark Horse and the Itchy Pig beforehand and then walk down!

   It was our first visit to Urban Choola and I was really impressed. Delicious food, amazing quality service, plenty of good vegan options, one of my favourite places in Sheffield now. Vegetable samosas were to die for, so don't forget about them whilst placing an order! Prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service that you receive. Will be back to Urban Choola very soon.
