The food was generally acceptable—nothing particularly disappointing—but overall quite average and the interior lacked a distinctive character. The Nigiri sushi was served cold (instead of cool) and California rolls were mild in flavour for my taste with not fully ripe avocado. No side plates were provided and the green tea was served with a tea bag. On the plus side, the server was polite and very attentive. Likely will not go back.

Truly exceptional quality and the best in London for a reasonable price. They're also currently offering bottomless sushi at this branch for £40 and it's the the biggest steal in London for the quality. Kind service too, could not recommend it more!

I visited this restaurant a few weeks back a great time. I’d been to the Atariya in Kingston before, so I was dead keen to check this one out. It’s got a proper restaurant inside. The chefs were super friendly, which made the whole thing even better. The place was authentic Japanese, just like the other Atariya spots. We ordered seven pieces of nigiri sushi and some pork katsu with rice on the side. Every bite was packed with flavour and just spot-on. It was very fresh and well made. I’m already looking forward to going back

Great food, authentic Japanese store! Asahi is on tap too which is great. Only suggestion is a non alcoholic asahi option. Other than that…service charge is not very Japanese

High quality sushi rolls and nigiri. The quality of sushi rice makes them very tasty. Salmon skin rolls have a unique warm grilled flavour reasonable price definitely recommend.

It's pretty good and good service. Slightly over priced. Went again in Oct 2022. Disappointed. That piece of chicken... Yeah.. not likely to return.

I’m sorry to say disgusting :/… I had salmon, tuna and tuna belly and I’ve never had such bad quality fish before. Had the texture of frozen fish that wasn’t kept cold enough and for far too long. Smelled bad and tasted like metal. Totally inedible.

I was so close, so close! To giving this place 5 stars and I'll explain why I deducted one star. Would recommend booking a head as this place is rather small and can get packed out during busy hours, so if you want to avoid waiting 30+ minutes then call and reserve a spot! We ordered the Tori Karaage, Una-Ju, Aburi Wagyu Nigiri (x2), Sal Ikura Don, Tokujo Chirashi, Salmon Spicy Mayo, coke (x2) and Yuzu Ramune. Total £107.50. Soooo yeah, this by no means is a cheap place to eat. But damn, the food is amazing. Honestly. I would go as far as to say to save up and treat yourself here if you possibly can as the food is very good. With that being said. I was a little disappointing by the chef making the sushi and food as at one point during survive, they whipped out their mobile phone and was on it for a few minutes before continuing their service. They did wash their hands after but that kind of ruined the atmosphere for me slightly. There was also a long wait before we got the cheque before we could pay to leave. I know this seems picky but it was almost the most perfect service with food apart from that. I have been here before and will come again in the future no doubt... After I save up a little money ;)

Reasonably priced good sushi restaurant. It's not worth a trip but if you're nearby, it's one of the best Japanese restaurants in the area.

My favourite local sushi restaurant. They update their menu quite regularly so you always have new options! The food is delicious, fresh and well cooked and there is a variety of dishes to choose from.
