If only i could had an option of less than one star. Fish was not upto the mark, When i showed them their fish they argued irresponsibly telling that nothing was wrong instead of entertaining my complaint. I regret spending my money there. Very disappointed customer service and pathetic food.
Came up to visit my dad from Devon and we came here to get some fish and chips. He’s been multiple times and has never had a bad experience. We both got fish and chips and he got curry sauce and it was absolutely delicious. I couldn’t recommend this place more. The prices were good, not too expensive, and they cooked the fish for you pretty much on arrival. Jane, the lovely lady who served us, was helpful and went through all the options available and was so kind. I cannot recommend this place enough. Please come here if you’re ever in Shirley or live nearby!
Went here for the first time the other day. Lovely friendly lady served us. I had a large cod(very large) portion of chips and 2 scollops. The fish and scollops were cooked fresh whilst I waited. The food was beautiful fresh and hot. Great portion sizes. Beautiful food. Great service and a very hygienic place. Will definitely be going back there again soon!

I have been going to this place, regularly, for years and have nothing to complain about. The food is good and the staff are friendly. Since I was young batter has given me a headache. So I tend to avoid your average fish and chips shop. After mentioning this, they were more than happy to cook my fish without. I have the haddock, which is very good. After trying most of the menu. I can't find fault with the food or any of the people serving it.
Wonderful lady serving we arrived early and she allowed us to sit inside and while we had a friendly chat she cooked some of the loveliest chips I've ever had. ......they were golden, fluffy on the inside and crisp on the out so much better than other chippys in the area with their soggy, greasy green tipped offerings
