Food has gone downhill. Bland, greasy and feels like the chefs just given up. Noodles are all cut up into 4cm chunks for no reason?
To be honest, I was really disappointed and this was my first food ordered at Oriental Express. The duck was not crispy but fatty. The prawn toast and spring rolls dry, and the Yuk sung too much onion....I really feel I wasted £36.50....still one lives and learns....however the service and promptness was good. Not been here for a while and it will be for long time , so thought we'd try it again, got soggy prawn crackers, chicken was slices in curry not the usual pieces and curry sauce tasted a bit funny only thing good was the soft fried noodles.... Will use our original place when re opens ☹️☹️
Do NOT order from here. Called the first time as we didn’t receive our rice. They brought it the second time with no apology about the mistake on the phone. Second time the food came it was cold, dry & the chicken tasted like off milk! To the point we was heaving trying to take a bite. We Called and said we want a refund (no apology from them on the phone yet again) and they asked for the food back even though we dished it out and still wanted it all back. Vile! Will never order again, put us of Chinese food
Had a fantastic take away meal, they added cashew nuts to my order of beef chow mein and I must say it's the best one I've ever had, the beef was generous and so tender. And my husband adored his sweet and sour chicken balls :) not to thick in batter and a lovely crisp to it. Chips aren't as nice as they used to be, but still good :). I'm craving another one now just typing this :) Thank you to the staff and great service and delivery was so fast !! X

Had one of the best Sweet & Sour Pork Cantonese style takeaways I've had in a long while tonight. Large portion, tasty succulent pork with plenty of sauce, huge spring roll. Delivery within 30 mins, thoroughly recommend.
