   I'm really disappointed. Stated a cheese and onion pie but was more like mush inside it. Tried to complain about the food to the manager Jasmine. Didn't want to know because she said it was vegan. Asked her for a replacement meal but would not swap it. I had to pay for another meal despite leaving this horrible thing. Tried to negotiate, but she couldn't care less. I've been going there for years without issues. Spent a lot of money in that place to be treated like this. Awful!!

   Had another lovely meal here today. The place is clean and looked after. The staff were fantastic, serving our party and taking care of the special cake and sorting it all for us. Cannot thank them enough for their service. Also I had booked online and called to update numbers a couple of time and each time was fast, easy and no problem to them. Definately recommend th Dilke.

   Women’s toilets looked like this just after the restaurant opened on Mothers Day! Smelt horrible and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned. Told a manager who said she’d go and take a look, an hour later they looked and smelt exactly the same. Won’t be going back!

   'Mothers Day Menu' I booked here for the set menu on offer the 18th and 19th March. We were given the full menu alongside an A4 sheet of food they didn't have. I asked for the set menu I'd seen advertised as this wasn't given to us when we sat down, we were given this. 2 out of 5 starters were not 'available'. We each managed to pick a starter and a main, we all ordered the 'salmon en croute' and around 2 mins later the waitress came back to say they didn't have the sauce for the fish, but they could offer 'gravy or 'red wine sauce' with fish!! We each decided to choose something else. The food we did get was good and the service was good but half of your menu was not available. I raised my concerns with a manager who advised they've had supply issues for a couple of months. She also admitted that some of the food was infact 'available' but saved for tomorrow. The set menu was advertised for two days. If you can't fulfil it don't offer it. I booked the set menu yet I couldn't order what I wanted because it's kept for a different day yet you say its 'unavailable' and we saw some of the dishes/food items stated being eaten. I also have a feeling this is what is done between lunch and dinner service. It may be noted as 'unavailable' when it's simply being kept for a different seating. The food we did eat we enjoyed but you are driving customers away. If I was to eat here again I'd ring in advance to find out what food was available.

   Went for Christmas Eve lunch, 3 adults 2 children. Great choice of food options, very friendly and efficient service, great choice of drinks. Food served in a nice amount of time so didn't wait too long but also didn't feel rushed. Good accessibility for disabled as parking round back is easy access. Really enjoyed our visit and will for sure be visiting again.

   The Dilke has been in Walsall for what seems like forever. We visit every so often. On my recent visit i found the food to be even better than usual. Items such as surf and turf are definitely a highlight, and all of the grilled food is cooked to perfection however you like it. Huge credit to Ryan our server, who gave us attentive service even when busy. I believe we've also been served by Stacey in the past who deserves equal credit. Good value for money and nice decor.

   We held our daughters christening in the garden room in October and we were really pleased, we were able to go in and decorate the room before hand. The food was lovely and staff were really helpful with our daughters food allergies to nothing was to much trouble. We will definitely return thank you

   Me and my wife drop by today for a quick dinner for the first time and we were worth very impressed. Service was very friendly and the food was delicious and excellently priced. The coleslaw needed a touch of salt in it but the portion sizes are very good and it was great value for money. The beer was excellent too. Would happily recommend eating here to friends.
