We drove over to the orange chippy from by tamworth this evening. Food was cooked fresh. Cod, chips. Curry sauce and samosas. Staff were lovely, food was great. Fish was lovely. Id certainly recommend them
Wow this place is amazing, we was over in walsall from derby and i was dying to get my daughter too try the famous orange chips! I found orange chippy and im gob smacked. Best chips i have ever had!!! And it was stupidly cheap. Small pizza 5.99!!! And the indian lady behind the bar was lovely. Such a beautiful soul. Karena from derby Approves. Get here now!!!!
Food freshly prepared. Lovely orange chips (or plain if preferred ae also nice) and tasty fish. Great to have it so close to home.
Used to be the best chips really orange and crispy, not sure what's happened but the last few times we've had from here chips were rock hard and more of a yellow colour
What a wonderful find. Tucked away on a housing estate.Orange chippy lives up to its name.Coated chips are excellent and pleasently not greasy and covered in oil.Good value for money.Had Masala fish,cooked to order on arrival so not having to wait, which was amazing and different to your usual fish n chip supper.Nice find will be back.
The flavour was good but the chips still had a bit of crunch inside them. I don't mind the batter having a crunch but the inside should be soft. Felt a bit undercooked with some. I think I hit at a busy time though.
Great tasting food of great quality. Good portion size for prices. Great customer service and a very clean and well kept chippy. I’ve had better orange chips but these were still very tasty. Only 4* as they don’t offer card payment service. Cash only.
