Absolutely vile. The chips were soggy and greasy. No salt or vinegar added even after calling to tell them. The masala fish wrap was just dry no fish just hard burnt batter. The scallops were just big fat potatoes still hard. Basically biting into a raw potato no flavour nothing.

Ever since the new owners have taken over this joint it has gone pants. Have been coming here even since Rab and his dad opened about 18 or so years. However this has gone diabolical. The staff just walk off while you’re standing there, the chips take 15 mins to cook like really and funny thing is they still be a little raw by the time u open them up at home. Also they have bits in them indicating that the oil doesn’t get changed as often as should.

It’s Saj kebab house, do I need to say more. As a kid I came here, as a teen I chilled here, as an adult I fed my kids here. This place is a generational shop and belongs in the birmingham long serving businesses and community award. Great work Saj, you’ve resolved poverty in the local area as the level of poverty in Calthorpe road is shocking. I heard with the recent minor price changes, people at home are throwing rats in the grills, but hey listen great work your doing and send my respects and admiration to bearded uncle with a missing finger.

Ordered a cod masala fish, £9.99 for this. Absolutely disgusting, literally no actual fish inside, nothing but burnt skin and chips.

Food is okay if you just want a quick bite to eat in the afternoon. Ordered chicken fillet burger meal, don't know if they ran out of salad that day but but my burger was full of onions. No lettuce cucumber or anything.
