Excellent dining experience. Wonderful food beautifully presented. Every course had excellent flavours. Service was impeccable, friendly and each course explained so you could make the most of the experience. The restaurant also had a really nice atmosphere. We had the English wines, which were very nice! Highly recommend and will visit again.
Exquisite presentation and every little bite was absolutely delicious, it had your taste buds dancing with joy. Chef is so talented Also loved the intimacy of the restaurant, the art and overall decorum. Would definitely go back.
Perfection. What a six course tasting experience. Every one was packed full of flavoured not experienced before. Great ambiance friendly and knowledgeable chef and team members. Small and intimate setting that enhanced the atmosphere. We had the best seat overlooking the chef at work. The wow factor!
Bought for a Christmas gift from our daughter and so glad she did as it was an amazing experience for my husband and myself. From start to finish each course was delivered by the most friendly staff who obviously were passionate about their food and restaurant. Could not pick a favourite as each course was stunning. Definitely worth the money and will be back for another memorable evening . If you like fine dining in a small intimate restaurant then this is definitely one to visit.
Fantastic dining experience with amazing food and service. The tasting menu was delicious and the chefs and restaurant manager did the most to make it a very special night from start to finish. Each dish was unique, beautifully presented and tasted incredible, accompanied with a table side explanation. Overall an amazing destination for a special occasion with sensational food, will definitely be going back!
Just had the most amazing tasting menu experience. The friendliest and most knowledgeable staff. The food and paired wines were out of this world. The venue was so intimate. Can't recommend it enough.
Booked black and green with my partner and friends on Friday evening after hearing great feedback. I went thinking what I had heard was potentially an exaggeration. People saying that is best restaurant in the region is a high mantle. To put it simply they were right and I was wrong to doubt. The food was exquisite and the service was exceptional The cleaver and admirable ethos of English and Welsh wine is brave and it works, who ever said we can’t make wine is clearly wrong. The atmosphere is friendly and chilled, it’s as people say it is amazing.
The food was outstanding. The intimate restaurant creates the perfect dining experience. The waiters are very attentive and having the chef tell you the menu every now and again makes the experience special. I am pregnant and Andrew catered to my dietary requirements. He went the extra mile to to ensure my food still tasted amazing. I have been to many Michelin Star restaurants, this place deserves to be on that list.
We had the most fabulous experience here last night. They have nailed it completely, down to every last detail. Such a lovely intimate setting, it felt like a dinner party. The wagyu was the best I’ve ever had. I had the first oyster that I’ve ever actually enjoyed and even the cheeseboard was delicious. I loved that you can pick wine pairings individually as sometimes it can be too much doing a whole flight. The staff bring the whole restaurant to life, engaging and laid back with a lot of humour which we enjoyed. Great with friends and can imagine it being perfect for a romantic evening too. Such a good job, hope it does really well. Really nice addition to the village!
