First time there. Went with the Mrs for her birthday. Place looked amazing from the outside with all the Xmas decorations. Inside was great too. Warm atmosphere and the place was buzzing. I had booked a table for two and on entry we were greeted and shown to our table. We were walked through the full length of the restaurant all the way to the back and round a corner (so we got to at least see, smell and feel abit of the experience ever other customer received this evening) before awarding us a table for two next to a conservatory window in winter. Destroying the otherwise beautiful atmosphere you have created for your customers. If not the only window that I recall that customers could be seated next to. Floor to ceiling. We did ask if we could be moved as the cold had set in during the short wait for our food (every cloud) and after seeing other customers cave under the cold. The staff seemed to be getting frustrated at the multiple requests to be seated else where because of the lack of heat and atmosphere whilst exclaiming "well the heating is on". Honestly, worst first experience I've ever had. If you are going to continue to condemn your less insulated customers to the tiny shed sized conservatory (completely cut off from the rest of the restaurant), then can I suggest curtains in the winter atleast. Food tasted great, colder than we'd hoped, we took it to go as we could not be seated anywhere else for another 15 (hopefully?!) Bust

Food was delicious but my husband and a friend had the lamb and the amount of meat was tiny and quite fatty for the price. I had the salmon tagatelli and the portion was huge but a little dry. Everything else was very good.

What a lovely little restaurant. We ordered garlic bread with cheese - amazing. Then cannelloni and risotto for main. Both came piping hot and very tasty. Sticky toffee pudding and profiteroles for pudding. The profitaroles were the best I've ever tasted. Service was speedy and reasonably priced. Under £60 for 2 with drinks. Definitely worth a visit. They also offered gluten free pasta and pizza.

Lovely homely intimate Italian restaurant. Fantastic service, very attentive and efficient, but food was mixed. The half cheese, half tomato garlic bread was extremely tasty as was the tiramasu, which was light, creamy with a delicious almond flavour. However, the aubergine bake was a little bland and the side of bread undercooked, more like hard bread rather than grilled toast or soft fresh bread. It was neither toast or bread. My friends both loved their main dishes.
