   First time visit but definitely not my last. From the moment you step into the restaurant you feel you are somewhere in the Med. A Persian menu which was an absolute delight. Amazing food. Staff are so friendly. Prices are extremely competitive especially considering the portion sizes. Highly recommended booking a table at this gem.

   A must-try place! The foods and sides are full of tastes. Also, the service was terrific. Thank you very much!!! My favourite is the Kabab Barg of the main course was astonishing. It would have been great to have freshly cooked nans, but I can't complain about the quality hot dishes.

   Absolutely recommended, great persian food. Restaurant is clean and comfortable. The service is excellent. On making our order we were given bowls of Ash reshteh on the house. Delicious. We had a selection of cold and hot starters (falafel, aubergine, spinach, yoghurt dip), all of which were excellent (the saffron mushrooms you can leave in the kitchen...). The mains are absolutely huge trays, two people can eat very comfortably. Both the grills and chicken pomegranate stew were received very favourably by all. The dough yoghurt and rose drink was surprisingly very refreshing; cold, fizzy floral.

   The restaurant was nice in term of food and the staff, I liked the portion which was big enough. The taste was OK. There are parking slots in the street... You can pay here cash and credit. I recommend it for Persian food fans

   Amazing. Went there for lunch today and had an incredible experience! We only had vegetarian food, and it was cooked perfectly. Staff were lovely. Felt very welcome. Will definitely be going back again soon!

   Red and yellow and pink and green, purple and orange and blue. You know food is good for you when it, in its unprocessed state, covers the full spectrum of the colour chart. Rouhi Persian Cuisine feels traditional, not in the foreign Persian sensibility, in that Birmingham Indian eatery sense. This is thanks to the layout of the restaurant. Walk through the entrance, into the reception area. Walk up a couple of steps, you're in the main restaurant and bar area. In this dimly lit space there are flashes of traditional Iranian art work, but not enough to teleport the senses of the custodian to the far reached of the Persian state. It is comfortable inside. Tables are well proportioned. Seating is decorative. Service is perfect, relaxed, perceptive and liberal. I could have ordered ordered everything on the menu, without warning from the waiter. Be warned, just a couple of light starters and breads are enough to satisfy you and your family's appetite. In retrospect, I should have ordered just a main, the Barberry Rice with Chicken. It included the complete dietary requirements for a small group of people in one tray. Rice, chicken, cabbage, tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, fruit, curry sauce... Food was tasty. It would have been great to have freshly cooked nans, but I can't complain about the quality hot dishes. The rice and chicken of the main course were sensational. Fruity and succulent respectively. Rouhi offers dishes at an excellent price point, you get large portions and a wide variety of foods for your money. I would recommend fasting for a few days before you take on the Rouhi main course challenge.

   Best Persian food we have ever had. We travelled to Birmingham and thought we would give Rouhi a try. Meat was tender and the chicken had so much flavour. The way the dish was presented it was like being in Iran, the portion size was perfect. Every time we travel to Birmingham this will be our place to go and would definitely recommend for people to come here!!! Amazing staff aswell

   Good portions and absolutely tasty food. Nice blend of spices which you can feel everytime you have a bite. There is also a small Shisha place around the back where we spend most of our time with mint tea and Baklava which is must try. Good customer service and definitely go back again.
