   I recently celebrated my birthday at Delaviz Restaurant. The atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming, though it was a bit cold and the heaters weren’t quite sufficient. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, checking on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. Parking was convenient, and the live music was enjoyable — Mr. Majid was especially kind and added to the pleasant experience. The presentation of the dishes was very attractive. The kebabs looked great, but unfortunately I couldn’t enjoy the koobideh at all — I ended up leaving it untouched. I really like koobideh, but the strong smell was too much for me to tolerate. The chicken tasted of butter and the saffron flavor was completely absent. The chenjeh was bland and wasn’t cooked properly despite its strong smell. On the positive side, the food arrived quickly, and the overall service was friendly and attentive. Overall, while the ambiance, live music, and friendly staff made it a pleasant evening, I probably wouldn’t return for the food alone, as the quality didn’t match the price. I would, however, consider visiting again for the Iranian atmosphere and music.

   A Hidden Gem in Bearwood – Steak Perfection! I’ve been to this steak place in Bearwood several times now, and every single visit has been outstanding. Tucked away from the main road, it’s a real hidden gem — the kind of place you almost don’t want to tell everyone about because it’s that good. I was never really a steak person before, but that completely changed the moment I tasted theirs. Cooked to perfection, full of flavour, and always consistently amazing. I genuinely can’t get enough of it now! The restaurant itself is spot on, cosy, welcoming, and just the right atmosphere whether you're going for a casual dinner or something a bit more special. The staff are friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. If you’re a steak lover or even if you’re not this place will convert you. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

   So much variety of Persian food and then steaks can be a little bit confusing and a bit hit to miss on occasion which is rare. Sometimes the flavours are aromatic where sometimes it’s on the slightly plain aside the stuff however a really helpful kind employed greeting and smiles, and nothing is too much. The atmosphere is pleasant and warming.

   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing experience! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. What really impressed me was that even though there was a wedding taking place and the hall was fully booked, they still prepared a table for us and served everything with great care. Truly professional and respectful service — definitely coming back and highly recommended!

   Really nice meal out to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The decor was lovely and the food did not disappoint. I’m usually hesitant to visit food restaurants as these days a lot of effort for the decor but the food taste lack severely. However, this place is a hidden gem and each dish tasted great. The waiter kindly gave us a pot of Persian tea and a birthday cake on the house, despite our insistence on paying for it. This was a really kind gesture, thank u

   Bearwood has another lovely restaurant! Heard many good reports and glad we tried De la Vies. 1st to arrive, but a warm welcome and superb surroundings/vibe. The Persian owner apparently looks after cooking the steaks personally and whatever the secret is, it was one of the best I've tasted in ages! The pistachio cheesecake was top drawer also, quality wine and attentive, relaxed service made for a good evening. Hope to return soon.

   Just Wow. Best restaurant I’ve been to in a while. We had ribeye and T bone cooked to perfection and service was great. Made my hubby feel very special on his birthday and we appreciated the cake and candle.

   This place is a must. Think I may have found the best grilled food in Brum. The meat is so succulent, cooked using charcoal no gas here! Great evening with the family in a unique venue! Holiday vibes on our doorstep!
