   Really kind staff and very clean and well made food. They made a way massive improvement to the place and all the other reviews were kinda odd because when we went it was amazing. Highly recommend its a taste of china!

   Beguiled by the well produced leaflet we received in our letter box, we decided we would give a Ki Ban takeaway a try. First, for the positive comment: the prawn crackers were quite pleasant- crunchy and slightly sweet to the taste. My son ordered sweet and sour chicken, which he described as being inferior to an Iceland frozen meal. The chilli chips were poorly seasoned and looked unappetising as some of the chips had black marks on them. It was the stir-fried three delicious, though (#29), which really disappointed. The dish was full of bean sprouts but contained hardly any meat. The slices of roast pork in the dish turned out to be tiny pieces of spongey pink meat; the duck was definitely not served in slices, but rather microscopic cubes; and the chicken was cut up into tiny bland slithers of beige flesh. We, as a family, will not be ordering from the Ki Ban again, but will stick to the tried and tested 520 Coffee Shop on Bearwood Road in Smethwick, which serve excellent Hong King style food at reasonable prices.

   What's happened to the Ki-ban? Haven't been for a few years but prior to that we were regular customers. Decided to get beef curry, fried rice, chips and pancake roll as we always had a nice Chinese curry from the Ki-ban. It was too thick and congealed. Edible but not as good as our local Bejing House or anywhere near what it was like when we were regulars.

   Am writing this review in discuss ,I normally buy a full duck pay around £20- £25) so when something is advertised as whole and there charging £29.50 and waited 30 minutes for preparation it all fitted in with historical purchases from other Chinese takeaways but last night 25thOct ,we got home having purchased £65 worth of food found we had 2 plastic containers of shedded cardboard dressed up as duck - we have been ripped off ,will never ever use this takeaway again Ki Ban 510 Hagley road west Quinton B680BZ .

   The best this side of Brum hands down! Plus you can ask for your food to be cooked in rapeseed oil as a healthier option. Fresh and tasty food, has not yet failed to impress me or misses.

   Not sure what's happened to Ki Ban, must have changed management but the food's nowhere as quality as it used to be. This is my second meal over the last year and it's been extremely disappointing. Food very greasy, bland, leaving me with a feeling of nausea and my son was very unhappy with the mixed meat curry..what a crying shame, been using this Takeaway for years. Wasted my money but it won't be happening again!!!!!
