A midweek lunch in an excellently presented pub, with a focus on tasty food that is a cut above most offerings. The team were very friendly and welcoming, and we had their Christmas offering that had just launched. Tasty soup, incredible beef cheek and a boozy Christmas pudding, plus a pint for £50 was a real treat. Highly recommended. The other plates coming out of the kitchen past our table looked amazing too!

Celebrated my 40th here with an awesome Sunday roast. It’s the best I’ve ever had anywhere, I had the pork with all the trimmings. The gravy is incredible you just know it takes days to make. Always order the stuffing, it’s next level. Service is always spot on and the pub always has a nice cozy atmosphere

Great gastro pub. Food was really top notch and the service was friendly, knowledgable, and accommodating. The duck leg is unreal, falls off the bone - the gravy tasted fantastic. Only feedback I’d have is the beet starter didn’t really have many beets, but the whipped feta was delicious. Also some of the chairs feel a bit higher for the table, if you’re sat on the chairs and not the sofa you are hunching over quite a bit.

Second time here and each times it’s been great. Everyone of the staff is so friendly, helpful, and always serving with a smile. Food is class and great tasting food. Will be going back many more times!! Also got 4 pieces of focaccia, that whipped pork fat butter is insane!! 3 starters, 3 roasts, side of cauliflower cheese, half a pint of beer, pint of Coke Zero, and a gin and tonic with tap water was £125.

Not happy. Booked a table a couple of weeks in advance which was confirmed online. Called the number advertised a number of times but got no response. Drove for 20 minutes to get there to there was no sign of life. Door and windows had metal grill covers on them, also went into the empty car park to the rear and called another number on their contact board but there was also no answer. Just need someone to confirm if this place is open for business or closed.

I’m a big fan of Caribbean food, so myself and the family visited Wildmoor oak restaurant in Bromsgrove for a Father’s Day meal. On arrival the waitress seated us straight away, took our orders and came across very professional and courteous. She also asked the question regarding allergies, which was good and uncommon due to my girlfriend having a coconut allergy. That put her straight at ease. The food took around 45 minutes to come out to the table but they were very busy so we didn’t mind. It was worth the wait! All of the food was cooked to perfection! Everyone enjoyed the meal and we all felt very full afterwards. Great place to go on a sunny day as the outside seating area is very nice, it is situated next to a lovely little brook. Huge car park and very accessible which is great aswell. The meal came to £137 for 4 including multiple drinks and deserts. If your a fan of Caribbean food definitely check this place out! Would definitely go here again!

We went to the Wildmoor for a Sunday Dinner. The choice of food on the menu made it really hard not too choose something else (because it all sounded amazing!). We had Nachos to start which were the best I've ever had and was a decent portion for a sharer. After plenty of indecisiveness, we chose to have a Sunday dinner, which was the best sunday dinner I've ever had, the presentation was brilliant and the taste didn't disappoint! It was mouthwateringly good! Although we couldnt fit it in, our greedy little bellies had to try the puddings that the Wildmoor had to offer, and they were just as good! Staff were friendly and service was good. I'd definitely recommend going here and we will be back very soon!

The first time I came here was about 10 years ago to the Caribbean night it was such fun! I visited again as my friends wanted to visit somewhere out of town. The food was lovely, staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the food. We had salmon, curried goat and The wild kebab! We made room for pudding so I had the cheesecake my friends had the rum cake and the banana cake all were really nice. The chef was friendly he came over to have a chat with us. I would definitely come back and visit again.

Yes & Yes - to return here after many years and to just go for it. Food great as I remembered it, service great too. A sampler to start with followed by a jerk pork or chicken main. Is there room for a desert? I’ll wait for a bit to see if I can squeeze it in, I mean c’mon banana cake … it’s gotta be done if you’ve room for it
