My brother and I celebrated our 20th and 51st wedding anniversary with our wife's over dinner at the Bell - perfect evening from the time we arrived until we left. The friendly attentive service from Heather and the great food from Chef Ana made it a most enjoyable and memorable evening.

Went for a family meal. Service/staff were great, food was excellent! It was very busy, but it was a Saturday night so expected. However, the background music was a bit loud and very odd for a restaurant setting. It was pretty much all rave music! Now I like a bit of Pete tong ibiza but not when I'm eating. As I said, very odd and not right for the ambiance at all. Having said that we didn't let it spoil our evening.

We got married in The Barn at the Bell on 5 July 2025 followed by the reception and evening and what an amazing day we all had. The Barn was superbly decorated. The food w as plentiful and excellent. The staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The day flowed so smoothly. We would highly recommend The Bell for anyone thinking of a small wedding. Thank you Amy for making our day so special.

We had a lovely meal last night here, the staff were really helpful and the restaurant was cosy and stylish. The pub has recently gone through a refurbishment and has a lovely homely feel to the restaurant. The food was great quality and the menu had incredible options. The weeknight escape menu also was great value for money as you can enjoy two course for £22.95 What we ate: Scallops Goats Cheese Tart Sea Salt and black pepper squid Mains Halibut special Prawn, crab and chorizo linguine Fillet Steak Desserts Chocolate Bomb Will be back again when in the area!!!

The refurb is so tastefully done. The new menu was absolutely delicious! Food was piping hot and very well presented. Staff were all so helpful and welcoming. A very calm air about the place. We will be back! Special thanks to Emma who looked after our table and was so attentive.

Great place to eat, lovely food and the service was really good. We did not book but still got a table on a Saturday lunchtime. Lots of choice on the menu, and several vegan options which was a bonus. The restaurant is really conveniently situated off the dual carriageway and has lots of parking. Disabled parking spaces are located right next the the ramp giving access to the main entrance. The outside area looked nice, with plenty of seating and very clean

This a lovely looking pub with a good selection of food and drinks. I would like to give it more stars, but the price is so expensive for what you get I can't justify giving it any more than three. I paid 14 pounds for the vegan burger which was literally just a burger pate with a slice of tomato and a slice of lettuce, with a small cup of fries. How do you justify charging 14 pounds for that? The food is very nice tasting. But very expensive. We was served quickly and the customer service was OK. The staff didn't have much knowledge of the food on the menu. I asked what the burger was made from and the staff didn't know or bothered to find out. When we arrived the restaurant was pretty much empty. Yet the waitress put us on a table next to a large family with kids running around noisily and uncontrollable. Why put a couple next to a family with disruptive kids beggars belief, especially when the restaurant is empty. I had to go and ask to be reseated elsewhere. Unless the price changes considerably, we shall not be returning.
