“5* absolutely earned on our visit. Having never eaten Nepalese food previously but able to cook authentic Indian food we wanted advice. Our waiter not only offered advice to suit our pallet but explained even what spices were used. Wow what a fantastic meal. “I dine out a lot when away with work and this is one of the best meals I’ve had. An unassuming little gastropub / restaurant which is tastefully decorated and offers a superbly warm and friendly welcome and seriously delicious food. Can whole heartedly recommend the delicate cauliflower Pakora starter with equally delicious dips elegantly placed on the plate. The Bay Tree Rossini (fillet steak on a pate croute with rich mushroom sauce), was amazing. For £26 I was expecting it to be good but this - for a little eatery in an off-the-beaten-track Midlands village - was superb. The service was genuine but unobtrusive and even the chef came out to see if the dinner was enjoyable. Highly recommended.”

“I've gone past this place many times but I finally booked a table with a few friends. Great food. The seafood platter was very tasty. Portions were not huge but more than adequate and it's good value as well. The service was relaxed so you didn't feel rushed. Lovely views as well.”

We enjoyed the early bird special it was very good value and lots of variety. The kitchen is open plan and looked very clean tidy & efficient. I love open plan kitchens when eating out. “The refurb is so tastefully done. The new menu was absolutely delicious! Food was piping hot and very well presented. Staff were all so helpful and welcoming. A very calm air about the place. We will be back! Special thanks to Emma who looked after our table and was so attentive.”

“I went into Maliks with a friend to check out the new breakfast menu, and I was very happy that I did. Shakshukka with home made paratha, and my friend had the curried chickpeas and potato which came with a lovely spicy pickle accompanyment, and a delightful sweet halva too. Both dishes were freshly made and were definitely worth the visit. Friendly staff, superb food. The staff are extremely helpful, and are pleased to help. Portion sizes are very good. The breakfast menu is worth the visit, so if you enjoy indian food and want to try something different, give Maliks a visit, however they also do an English breakfast too [please see picture attached for the menu]. Breakfast is served 8am - 11.30pm so this gives you plenty of time. Free car park just over the road makes visiting easy, cant praise this visit highly enough. Definitely on my regular breakfast place to eat. Not expensive either which is even better.”

“I had two large lasagnes to takeaway to serve 20 people today at a family party.The owner was very helpful and opened the shop Sunday morning for me to collect the food. The food was excellent ,it was very tasty , moist and cheesy and everyone at the party commented and asked where I had purchased it from.I would definitely recommend the Deli and am using them again before Christmas for another event and ordering lasagne again , a big hit to be repeated!”

“In our opinion the best Indian takeaway in the area and also the best value for money. Have been regulars for a number of years now and sadly not operating at the moment due to a refurbishment. A helpful guy who answered the phone recommended Spice of Lye which was 'ok' just not the same. Hopefully it will be back open again soon.”

“MMMMMMM finger licking good... great place you have to try it to believe it. Service was brill the food well lets say even better...... food was amazing the loaded fries well lets say i only got a fork as the kids devoured it they loved it. My kids are the fussiest of eaters.. n Now lets get onto the chicken strips and fries meal for £10 seriously £10.. best value for money i have ever seen and the fries well lets just say the MMMMMMMMM best fries ive tasted from any takeaway.. finally i dnt knw but looked like a yogurt chilli sauce .. MMMMMMM Great guys been a while THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT FOOD. The wait is worth it you will not walk out disappointed but you will walk out wanting more......”

“I legit have no words. Myself and my partner who visit Lindos often kept reminiscing for months on months saying we wish England UK had a restaurant. We came from Wolverhampton drove down and it was worth every mile. Honestly I’m shocked how tasteful it resembles back to Greece. Will definitely be returning!! Best UK restaurant by far”

“Always enjoy our visits to this cafe. Over the years, we have been for breakfast and lunch - even on Fathers Day. The food is always freshly prepared and the staff extremely kind. Our young son is made welcome and chooses to eat here rather than any other place in the village! We like the glass tea pots, quality of the coffee and relaxed atmosphere.”

“Our local indian restaurant, we visit regularly. Tonight we were treated to an off the menu dish, Punjabi chicken. It was lovely. Our favourites are the railway lamb and beef khala buna. Great food served by nice people. They even remember to bring me extra coriander with my dish after asking for it one time. Now that's great service. 10 out of 10 all round.”
