   Regular visitor for nearly 30 years seems to just get better and better. Can honestly say I have never had a meal that disappoints. The best Chinese restaurant I have ever been to.

   Had a supposed party of 10, an extra person joined last minute which they were happy to add. Service was super fast, we always had a drink, the owner had a laugh and a joke with us and service in general was incredible couldn’t fault them. Food came hot fresh and was plentiful. We even took leftovers home with all of us. They really are running a great restaurant.

   We went as a group of 4, and from the moment you walk in, you're given a 5 star experience. The restaurant is so beautiful. The staff are incredibly polite and friendly, and they couldn't do enough for us. We'd never been before and were unsure about the table set up and the food, but everything is placed on a huge rotating table so you can share and try whatever you like. The food was exceptionally good, all freshly made and piping hot, with very generous portions. We needed a take out box for leftovers as there was so much. Including drinks, prawn crackers, starters, mains, and rice, it was around £27 each, which was very reasonable considering the quality and quantity. I highly recommend going to Ruby Cantonese. I'm vegetarian and they have a nice selection, we'll definitely go again!

   I hope you like walking because there’s no parking! Inside is very pretty but very small and cold, it was my bday and wanted to go to a BUFFET but it was a set menu that you had to choose! That’s not what a buffet is, a buffet is a restaurant that customers can go and pick which food they want at any time and as many food as they want. The food was delicious I must give them credit for that one thing, but they let themselves down with the portions! Very misleading menu, in the pictures the food may look big but I assure you we left hungry. OVER PRICED People rushing past our table with flaming sizzling hot dishes inches away from our faces whilst they go service other customers was quite unpleasant and unsettling. Me and the person I came with to enjoy this experience did not enjoy this experience to much unfortunately we really wished we have kept our money to spend at a Chinese/ Thai takeaway because at least we would be getting more for our money and feel comfortable.

   We’ve been a few times over the last few weeks after a work colleague recommended it. For a staff meal & a family meal. Staff are very helpful & efficient. We enjoyed the early bird special it was very good value and lots of variety. The kitchen is open plan and looked very clean tidy & efficient. I love open plan kitchens when eating out. Highly recommend for a large or small table booking you will be well looked after

   Tried this restaurant for the first time after hearing many great reviews. Unfortunately much to our dismay, we were charged twice for one portion of egg fried rice when we questioned this, we were met with a rude lady who insisted one bowl was “2 portions”, cannot quite fathom how she comes to this conclusion. Me & my fiancé had 1 starter to share which was lovely and faultless, the perfect amount for two. However the lady taking the order failed to explain it would be £8.40 each which for what you get is extortionate and when we questioned this were told it was our fault for not reading the menu correctly regardless of this not being made clear on the menu! We ordered crispy shredded beef & when this came out after eating one piece each, figured out it was nothing but rubbery batter and grease on a plate, we waited till after the meal to voice concerns over this as it was left untouched and felt we were ignored, it wasn’t until we spoke up again that some kind of solution was offered for this. Staff apart from one young blonde lady & one young gentleman were rigged up to the nines with attitude and not that of a customer service friendly attitude at that, wait times to pay the bill was ridiculous and it felt like we were being watched whilst eating. Not the most comfortable environment to eat in and certainly won’t be returning. Food received was not worth what we paid. Please stick to ordering from your local takeaway :( !

   We had a lovely succulent meal today from the Ruby Cantonese. The staff were all very professional and polite, as well as helpful as it was our first time eating here. We were recommended by countless different people to come and have a meal here. So we had very high expectations, and even then we were still blown away by the service and quality. On top of that, the price and quantity was very reasonable. 5/5 would definitely come again!

   First time back for about ten years, enjoyed the meal as much as we used to. We had the set menu for 2, switching out the basket for chilli king prawns... really enjoyed every course. Will be back again...

   A very well established Chinese restaurant that never fails to satisfy. Every time we go it is packed, which says it all really. Like the fact you can see into the kitchen too. Extremely pleasant, helpful and efficient staff. Some nice deals on "set meals" too, heartily recommended x

   First time here in many years, we were not disappointed in the early bird menu. Great value for money and plenty of choice. All dishes were absolutely delicious and the service was excellent, with very pleasant and friendly staff. The whole place is spotlessly clean too which, in our book, tells all. We will most definitely return soon. Many thanks. 2 very happy (and full) customers.
