Great BCA pub. Good choice of beers as you’d expect. Great cobs and chips usually always available. The Sunday lunch is one of the best you’ll have anywhere. Nice friendly staff and conveniently situated by the train station.

Bags of character and conveniently placed just outside the station and they have a train times board so if you miss a train or pop.in for a cheeky pint before or after your train, you can see when the next one is. The staff are friendly and a good selection of ales. Good cobs, sausage rolls and pork pies on offer too. I can't comment on the accommodation because I haven't stayed the night as I only live in Stourbridge town.

Beautiful grand pub near Stourbridge Junction station, saved from closure by Black Country Ales and now flourishing. Pies and sausage rolls available.

I was tipsy but been here from fresh, it's good vibes, lovely place great decoration/ tiling/ old style pub. Best of British. Love it to bits Beer garden area too. Also if no parking, Stourbridge Junction is super close

So lucky to have this gem on our doorstep. It's just a great all round pub. Food is delicious, been a few times now for Sunday lunch and and are always impressed. Great prices, friendly staff. You can't ask for more.

Another gem of a pub: Black Country Ales are generally very good and this is no exception. Beer kept well and reasonably priced. Food was excellent and they catered for a group of 20 with ease on a busy Saturday night. Great service and welcome too.

This pub is a real gem. Beautifully restored listed building with large welcoming rooms, some with wood fires. Staff are cheerful and so helpful. Recently enjoyed lunch there with some friends, the food was good and tasty. There was a dart board in the room we dined in, so had a game before our food came which was good fun. Would definitely visit this pub again and strongly recommend it to others.

Five of us enjoyed the festive menu at 3pm today, Christmas Eve. The service was excellent, our waitress extremely polite and helpful. Four of us had the sea bass dish which was very generous, fish cooked perfectly, sitting on a tasty bed of vegetables and beans. A heartwarming dish. My husband had roast turkey, again a very generous portion, much enjoyed. Good crowd of people enjoying the festivities, great start to our Christmas. Polly Vaughan

Fantastic pub! We are lucky that we have this pub on our doorstep. The staff are fantastic, always attentive, friendly and welcoming. The owners Pete and Ruth are lovely and work very hard to make their customers happy and welcome. Food and drinks are very reasonably priced :) NEW food menu has recently been launched and the Beef Wellington is to die for! You must also try the Sunday roasts! They are massive portions and very tasty, all home made!

New chef, new menu - thoroughly enjoyed it! Lovely atmosphere in a traditional pub: spacious, clean and dog friendly in the bar and snug. Even open fire on an evening. New owners are welcoming and accommodating- big thumbs up from me!
