   Excellent Fresh Food and Fantastic Service! This is our second visit to Tirana and today we only intended to have desert and coffee HOWEVER: The fresh food and warm welcome always catches us out! Even though we arrived early and the restaurant was empty the chef came out and the manager (Christian) had no problem at all offering us a table and anything we wanted from the menu. I had the Sea-bass with home made chips, my wife had a Caesar Salad and our son had the carbonara. We also ordered some fresh hummus and grilled halloumi. The Sea-bass was really tasty and perfectly cooked and the homemade chips reminded me of the the chips my mom used to make, fantastic! The portion of Caesar salad was more than enough for my wife, also delicious and as for our son's carbonara he said it was quite simply the best he has ever had (& he eats a lot)! The hummus was fresh and so tasty the only thing that could have made it any better was the very fact the chef had just made fresh bread by hand and this came along with the dish still warm from the oven! All of the salad: Caesar and the sides with the main course were absolutely fresh with a perfect amount of olive oil. Desert: We had returned primarily for the traditional Albanian desert ;Trilece and once again this did not disappoint. Soft, fresh and melted in the mouth. We (whole family) cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Admittedly it is in a pretty untidy area of Lye / Stourbridge but please do no let this put you off as once inside the food and service is absolutely worth the visit. We cannot wait to visit again (which we intend to do very soon)! A FANTASTIC HIDDEN GEM!
