Avoid! One of the worst chippys I’ve had in years. Flavourless chips, undercooked/soggy batter on the fish and scallops that was somehow cakey/gritty? All the positive reviews are from before it came under new management
Chips where okay but the Donner meat was the worst I've ever had, there was a really funny taste to it and was very dry. Don't think I'll eat here again.
The food was disgusting. I have no idea how this shop has 5 stars on just eat. The chicken was dry and looked like it had been sat under a light for hours. The chips was okay. The best thing was the spring roll, probably because it was frozen. Stay away from this place at all costs!
Food cold , chips greasy and hard , chicken dry as anythin, batter on sausage was soggy. Kebab meat had a funny underlying taste . Lunch time food tasted like was left over from the night before .
From the first time I came the food has been amazing. I had the spicy bbq donner and I keep coming back for it. The food and service of the staff is second to none. They have a wide selection of desserts which I’ve had on occasion. As well as American drinks. The drinks are priced so fairly. All cooked and prepped wonderfully. Thank you all!!!
Absolutely gawjuss food I ride my pedal bike a mile and a half just for the large mixed meat and chips happily
A regular here, love their Donner meat. Food isn't too greasy like other chippys and always comes hot and fresh. Lovely staff, friendly and welcoming and up for a chat. Highly recommended!
Staff were fantastic, it was late. I was tired and it was a quick last minute stop. Clean in there and menu is as you would expect with some good deals. Chips are fantastic and their curry sauce especially. Very reasonably priced given today's climate and the quality doesn't suffer for it. We have found our new local!
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE Chips was rock hard & fish wasn't cooked & batter was rock hard & potatoe scallop was rock hard burnt & mix meat was missing red meat but other meat was all dry like rubber & pies was burnt like they been reheated over & over & salad wasn't fresh it was brown couldn't eat food wasn't edible my sister is 28week pregnant was being sick from just tried abit we have contacted environmental health took all pictures of the food would give this 0 star MANAGE WAS VERY RUDE WHEN CALLED TO COMPLAINT TO SEE IF CAN BE SOLVED ABOUT ISSUES DIDN'T EVEN TRY JUST KEPT CUTTING US OFF PHONE P.S DON'T WASTED UR MONEY ON THIS PLACE £65.90 WASTED!!!
