    Ordered donner kebab in naan with chips. They only had enough meat to give me half a serving so they put my food to one side while I waited for the kebab meat to be ready. They were getting multiple orders from different customers after me for kebab meat but instead of informing the customers there would be a wait because the meat was heating through they kept accepting orders, then they started putting a male member of staff under pressure asking when the meat would be ready because they had lots of back orders. I was handed my order about a minute later. Within half an hour of eating it I started to feel sick. I've now got food poisoning from ill prepared food! Avoid this place!

    My experience over the passed 2 years has been exceptionally consistent high level of service and fresh quality of food. The staff are extremely polite and welcoming. The girls who are constantly on their feet for hours on end and yet still smiling is what makes me want to keep going back to Tasty Plaice Merry Hill without fail. If it wasn't for the staff at Tasty Plaice Merry Hill and the quality of food I would not have the same reviews. Keep smiling girls xoxo

    The service girls refused to make fresh fish for us and insisted that we take the one available & fried a while back although we came a solid half an hour before the closure time. They were just in scrapping the service area not caring about customers standing. We asked to speak to the manager they refused saying he will offer the same response!!! Shocking service, the staff are paid to serve customers and can’t refuse service 30 min before closure time!!!! I suggest they need to be monitored and checked. Fish & chips are meant to be served fresh!

    Friendly service, really fresh food. The chicken chunks, chips and curry sauce were really nice and good portion of chips too. Curry sauce was a little too thin but flavour was good and it made the pot of sauce last just long enough for the chips to be fair. Chicken was cooked to order so took a few minutes but service was very friendly and it was worth the short wait.

    Best FOOD served at the merry hill food court. I visit merry hill weekly with my 2 children and we have lunch at the food court. I have eaten at various different restaurants, however tasty place had the freshest fish and food & the girls working there are super kind, friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend for anyone visiting who wants fresh food at a great price with really good customer service.

    Went there with my partner and it was such lovely food seemed very hygienic where the food was cooked and staff were fast and friendly. Not too greasy or strong the perfect flavour exactly how fish and chips should be would recommend to anyone. its not the cheapest comes to about 16+ for 2 but it's filling and worth it.

    Nice food, located in the food hall where there are many alternatives yet I would always choose this place! The drink can be purchased in a XL capacity which is essential with a meal like this. Also, the staff at this branch are very friendly and helpful (Aug, 22).
