Harpers has always been my favourite place to eat in Merry Hill, however, this time was awful. I found a piece of hair in my meal, luckily I hadn’t eaten much. I took the meal straight back and was given a refund but this has put me off from eating here again!!

Service very good. Purchased steak & ale pie with roast potatoes, carrots and peas for £9.99. Pie was tasty, roast potatoes nicely cooked however food was cold (vegetables were like they came out of fridge). The warmth was the gravy poured over meal. It's not the first time I've had cold food from there. Unlikely I will go again.

I have used this establishment many times over the past couple of years. I can honestly say that the food is consistently good and good value for money. The chicken and mushroom pies are my favourite and they are packed large pieces of chicken. The staff are friendly too so it’s worth a visit. Highly recommended

Harper's is a good spot for those craving traditional British fare. The menu is packed with a variety of pies and British classics, all served with roast potatoes, vegetables, Yorkshire puddings, and rich gravy. The food is fresh and of good quality, providing a comforting and hearty dining experience. The staff are friendly and provide attentive service, ensuring a pleasant visit, making it a great place for a food break during a shopping trip or just a casual meal. The pricing is pretty reasonable. Despite the high quality food, the prices are fair, offering good value for money. Overall, Harper's delivers on its promise of tasty, traditional British cuisine. It's a solid choice for anyone looking to enjoy classic warming dishes.

Went for a large 10 item breakfast... Well the alarm bells should have rang when the cardboard plates came out.. I might as well have COVID because the food was tasteless and just barely warm.. lesson learnt Don't waste your money here.

I would rate this a 0star if i could. Staff is completely rude and doesn’t give what you pay for unless you ask repeatedly. If you say something about the food,or your order, they argue with you like they’re giving it for free.I ordered a large drink and they put ice in it after i said i don’t want ice politely, then when i gave it back and said i didn’t want ice ,they took out the ice from the same cup but didn’t fill it up so i went back and gave it them and said can u fill it up properly and they threw a fit.I just checked my drink and there’s still ice in it.

Very clean and healthy food. The lady serving our food was very friendly. Let me taste the gravy separately to see of i really wanted it or not. The taste was yum. And ambience was nice too. But, you need to go at a time when the place isn't too packed.
