The best breakfast I've ever had (Wellington Breakfast), cooked to perfection, tasted divine. Wife was very impressed with her bacon and egg sandwich. Service was swift, courteous and professional. I couldn't be happier with the service, food, drink and atmosphere
Ordered sausage sandwich, vegan mushroom and goats cheese on toast, plus tea and coffee. The sausage was served up as teo slices of bread with 3 whole sausage inserted between, No butter, sausages not cut, nor bread cut in half. The mush/ cheese on toast served on a slice of bread, with the second slice just underneath. There were no teaspoons available for the tea and coffee, when we asked for them we were given sundae spoons. Feel robbed at £18.50
I used to like this place but the service went down hill a little. My wife was ordering few dinner items and the young lady behind the till was slightly unpleasant. On top of that a woman was leaving with her dog. In the middle of the place the dog peed on the floor. Woman oblivious to that just left. Then the next customer stepped into it. I think it's disgusting. I'm all for pets etc, but eating where animal wee is off-putting.
We planned on a quick drink then away due to having to sit out in the freezing cold with our dog. Was surprised to see they now have a dog area inside so sat inside and happily spent more money on food. Other businesses take note!
Really welcoming restaurant. Light open well decorated. There is a dog friendly area if you want to take your pampered pooch along. The menu is varied and we enjoyed a late afternoon meal. All the staff were very kind and friendly
Popular cafe inside Cherry Lane garden centre. Was quite busy when we were there but we got a table alright . Seemed clean . Only had a drink which was nice and hot but the meals and cake looked good. Can only use a card when paying so bare this in mind Hubby informs me they are now accepting cash
Lots of good vegetarian and vegan options. Their vegetarian sausages are very good. I didnt have it but also read that their vegan burger comes with vegan coleslaw. The pricing is also good considering the good size of the meals. There is a small shop opposite the restaurant which also sells vegan sausage rolls, and vegan fudge.
