Had Christmas dinner here 12 of us 2025 . Food was lovely and plenty of it. Service was excellent. Pleasant staff. Will definitely come here again . It was so well organised. Thanks to all who made it lovely for me and all my family.
Absolutely excellent in all respects. We had the festive three-course meal and couldn’t fault it; fantastic value, fantastic food, and fantastic and friendly service. The table was decorated with Christmas table cloth, crackers, and a table decoration. This is our second year having the Christmas meal and we’re already looking forward to next year!
Can't believe how scruffy the bar staff are in the front room. It certainly does not give a good impression.Hopefully the new landlord will put this right .Also the lads behind the bar seem to serve their friends before others in the queue and put their kind of music on the jukebox in stead of what the customers like. .
Came in on Thursday, I always thought it was a drinkers pub, never noticed the other dining area, the staff were knowledgeable and I had a Chick n Mix a big chicken dish where I could choose what dishes I wanted. It was only £6! My partner had the steak n ale pie, she liked hers too. Really good prices and very tasty.
I visited last Friday and it was a great experience! Food was brilliant, I opted for fish and chips. Very much enjoyed it thank you, we will be visiting again.
Lovely pub nice and relaxing been a favourite of mine for a long time. Food nice and great value.
Very beautiful and welcoming pub very friendly staff I was a bit standoffish at first going into the pub as I am transgender and I didn't know how I would be welcomed but I can honestly say this pub made me feel very welcome the staff made me feel very welcome and they are always there to help also it is a very friendly atmosphere
Lovely pub, we came for breakfast with Santa and it was fantastic! So much entertainment for the kids the staff went above and beyond to make the day as fun as possible for them. We will be back again for the next event.
Visited this evening with freids was my first visit and it won't be my last food was delicious tasty and very hot was plentiful for a senior had sausage, mash peas with gravy and a delicious scoop of vanilla ice cream. Service was great and dishes served with a smile
Food was good but glass for vine was very dirty and The husband ordered a beer that stinked so incredibly. When the waiter sniffed, he acknowledged the mistake and apologized.
