Im not one for leaving reviews but if I could give Zero stars I would! Really dissapointed with food standards but most of all the way I was treated by staff. I ordered for the first time from the cottage Kingswinford, I ordered a Carvey for 3 people and paid £36.. when it arrived as I took it out the bag the boxes it came in had gone all soggy so as I lifted box out of bag all the dinner fell through the bottom and onto the floor and the other boxes had gone the same. I called the cottage straight away to explain and they said nothing they could do and to contact uber ( this was not a driver issue in my eyes and uber didn't reply) They finally said the manager wasn't available and took my number to call me back...2 hrs later ( and no lunch! ) no call so I called again , explained again to another member of staff and was told someone would call me back when she had spoke to manager.Another 2 hrs later still no call so I called again and was spoke to really rudely by a different member of staff who again said basically not there problem and there was no supervisor or manager i could speak to after leaving me on hold then coming back and saying he was on his own and no one else there for me to talk to .By this time I was really upset and frustrated as £36 is a lot of money to end up on floor and know one wanted to help me. Very dissapointed by the way I was treated by one of mine and my families local pubs.

Excellent service. Extremely friendly and a cosy atmosphere. Were very helpful as we had a vegetarian and a vegan with us. The vegetarian lasagna and the vegan masala curry were absolutely delicious; the masala meal was one of the best vegan ones I have tried. I will definitely be returning again with more vegans to try the curry. Thank you. I have included a photo but because of the naan bread you cannot see that it also came with rice.

I ordered from here on Uber eats as I’ve seen it a few times thought I’d give it a try, as you can see Cajun chicken burger is cremated, it was rock hard, no sauce or salad… I also paid extra for cheese and bacon which wasn’t added onto the burger either. Then I come to open the cheese burger loaded fries and the burger had a weird taste to it and there was no gherkins or onions on it, like it had all been thrown together and sent, and to top it all off all stone cold. Heard good things but never again, I would be embarrassed to even send this out if I was a chef.

The food here was absolutely amazing, proper home cooked food (including the unbelievable chips). Would HIGHLY recommend the salt & pepper chicken. We'll definitely be back again soon.

Felt very rushed during our meal today. Spent £100 on food and drinks and it felt like it was a race to see who could eat their meal in the quickest time possible, and to leave as quickly as possible! Kept being told "you have 45 minutes left, you have 10 minutes left" I understand it was a busy day but not very good customer service overall. Pub needs updating, very dark and dingy and the toilets were poorly maintained and not very clean!

Food was good, but we felt like we were being rushed out. The table said 1hr half till we have to give up our table, but the food took at least 45mins to arrive, about 20 mins after ordering we were told we only had 45 mins left till we had to go, then the server came back and said we can take our time and not worry. After we had ordered desserts we were suddenly told we had 10 mins to go, the desserts took 15 mins to arrive. Not really the best customer service. I also saw one staff member picking at the carvery meat with their fingers so put me off ordering the carvery. Would not recommend this place really.

Had 2 Soft Drinks and Meals for £20. Price is Ok,however a few things were in need of attention. Bread with One Meal was Stale and Mash Not V Warm. The other the Curry was not warm but was edible with Hot Chips. Nice Rustic Atmosphere and Friendly Service.

Friendly staff. Food during the week is basic pub grub, quite small portions (especially the gammon) but it is to be expected when two meals only cost £14. All food cooked to order. The pub itself is very dated with some of the upholstery dirty and split with stuffing hanging out. Definatly could do with a make over.

Went for a carvery. It was really lovely. Could do with extending the carvery area to make it more accessible so you don't have to queue in front of the bar area. Also the interior of the pub needs updating as it's a little dark inside. But enjoyed our meal
