The pub is very much a proper boozer but also welcoming to familys and the elderly. Also do a banging cob homemade by herself. Dogs welcome. Good vibes always.”

“Turned up and decided to have lunch and ordered the burger. The service and the food quality were excellent, well worth a visit. Whilst I was there I realised the pub also does live sport with Sky & TNT so I will be back at the weekend on Sunday afternoon to watch the Arsenal Vs Spurs.”

“First time coming in a few years after seeing recent social media posts. The food is freshly cooked so there is a little wait but when it is as good as it was, I really don't mind. I can't tell you how big the chunky chips were and the short rib beef was delicious! The staff were really friendly and welcoming too. The menu is small but I think that is a good thing as everything is cooked well. Will be back for some 2-4-1 cocktails and a Sunday for a carvery. A little hidden gem!”

“Under new owner's it is no longer a Marston's pub, been a few times found the bar clean good selection of beer's moderate priced this is not a food pub just a wet bar, they do filled rolls occasionally I found Matt the assistant manager very friendly”
