   Visited tonight and left overall slightly disappointed after visiting numerous times over the years with no faults. On arrival we were greeted by an immense odour from the Gents toilets but thankfully after entering the pub itself, the smell disappeared. Food was average tonight - if anything seemed like it had been sat for a while before being served. Portion sizes were great however. Desserts were the biggest disappointment. We paid for the adults brownie sundae, only to be provided with a small one. Thought this was odd as previously they were massive but didn’t question anything as thought this had perhaps changed. It was only until our Ice cream was gone when we noticed two big brownie sundaes leaving the kitchen! Our second sundae, a vanilla one with raspberry sauce and wafers (was delivered more like a vanilla ice cream, jam and no wafers). Staff lovely as always. Hoping it was just an off tonight!

   I have recently moved to the area stumbled across this pub. What a . I had a meal and it arrived promptly and hot in temperature.... We had a drink previous to ordering a meal this was a prompt service with friendly banter. I would highly recommend this establishment for food, drink and the ambiance its a pity there aren't a few more places like this. For someone who had just moved to the area the welcome was second to none. Thank you team see you very soon

   Only popped in for a drink while walking home. Was most impressed with the barmaids service. Busy night but she was up for it. Had a look at the food menu and the prices looked keen. Have every intention of having aeal there when the opportunity presents itself.

   Lunch time visit. Had the toated chicken sandwiches. They were tasty and very reasonably priced. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Came and checked we were happy with our food.

   Food was great as was the friendly service. I understand it's recently under new management and as a first time visitor I will definitely go back. I love the fact that the pub is dog friendly. They certainly realise that's there's a gap in the market for all pet owners who probably wouldn't go on a night out because they couldn't leave their furry friends at home alone. The dogs that I encountered were well behaved. Friendly atmosphere all around.

   A friendly welcome, great pub grub at very reasonable prices and good beer. Dog friendly too! What more could you want. We'll definitely be back soon and I'd happily recommend it to anyone.
