   After being stood watching a woman on the phone for 20 minutes to several different men and being insulted by the staff there it will gladly go on Google review as a zero... Horrible staff, nasty food and the insults straight from shameless

   Horrible experience! Ordered takeaway which should have arrived 40 minutes after the order. When they were half an hour late I contacted them but they said it was on the way. Another half an hour passed and I tried contacting a couple more times but no response. Altogether I waited for food 1 hr 40 min and food was barely warm when it arrived. I got a half-hearted apology (as an afterthought) about it being "a bit late". This was a first time and a last time I'm ordering anything from there. They should be ashamed of themselves.

   I recently had the pleasure of dining at Langold Fish Bar, and I couldn't be more impressed! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. Ben, our server, truly made the experience exceptional. He was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, with perfectly cooked fish and crispy chips that were hard to resist. Ben made great recommendations, and his enthusiasm for the dishes really enhanced our meal. It's rare to find such outstanding service, and Ben's warm demeanor made us feel right at home. Overall, I highly recommend Langold Fish Bar not just for the fantastic food but also for the incredible service. Thank you, Ben, for making our visit so enjoyable! I can’t wait to return!

   Sadly this has changed hands and the prices are absolutely criminal £9.20 for chips and peas twice..... This is almost doubled in 3 years. They're not that nice either. I won't be back

   Not been there in 5 years. Now i rember why. All are food was cold and didnt really taste of anything even the curry. Plus its cash only with no sign didn't find out till after I'd ordered my food witch is very bad. Then had to mess about getting cash. The staff well was no communication at all was stood for ages after I'd ordered nobody else in I had to ask what the wait was as everything I'd orderd was cooked.

   This guy really knows how to cook fish. My wife and I both had large cod and it was the best cooked fish we had in our time in the UK. The batter was crisp and crunchy, the fish white as driven snow. We really enjoyed our supper. We will definitely recommend this shop to family and friends.

   I was in Langold seeing some friends and I was introduced to this little fish and chip shop. Firstly, the smell was mouth watering. I didn't actually plan on eating but honestly, I couldn't resist. Secondly upon entering the chip shop, I was amazed how clean it was. I mean, absolutely spotless. There wasn't even a splash of grease anywhere. I was very impressed. Finally, the prices were very competitive and cheaper than most other Fish and Chip shops in the area. Due to the low price, I actually expected a smaller portion. I actually ordered an extra fishcake in anticipation of a small helping.I was mistaken. I was given a generous portion of mouthwatering food. The fish was fresh, the chips were perfect and all of it was piping hot. Absolutely delicious. 100% recommended.
