We visited on Tuesday for lunch and got welcomed with a smile. I have dietary needs due to crohns and when ordering, I asked for the prawns and crayfish without sauce and usually I am confronted with 'the fish is already in the sauce or marinated' but The Vine in Kinver were happy to cater for me as everything is freshly prepared, which made my day and it was lovely. My husband had steak and ale pie and my friend had lasagne which she was unable to finish and they put the leftovers in a tub to take home.

In such a lovely setting by the canal side linking the outskirts of Birmingham, Kidderminster and Wolverhampton area. Quiet, quaint little part of England. The sun was shining, the atmosphere was chilled. Ample parking, space for the kids and dogs to roam about. A great little escape for a meal, brunch catch up or a swift half.

Wonderful location. If you're coming via the canal then don't expect to be able to moor very close. Nice friendly staff - all very young. There was a party on this evening so they had most the food off, which we didn't realise until we asked at the bar about food. They were able to do pizzas, but honest their pizzas are bad. They're perfectly edible, but that's it. They could improve greatly just from using a proper tomato sauce instead of purée.

Had a very enjoyable lunch before continuing on our journey down the canal. The Moving Mountains veggie burgers were cooked and garnished nicely, and the chips were crunchy and tasty as well. Our server was pleasant and helpful.

Excellent (though a little pricey). The greeting was lovely (not forced) and the food arrived quickly (tapas - tempura prawns which were cooked to perfection and sweet potato wedges plus some green olives) main course was cod and chips - huge fish with lovely fresh crisp batter and lovely fries. It’s a great place, nice atmosphere. We ate outside and had a thoroughly nice time. £48.00 with just two pints of lager is a lot to pay but we both agreed it was lovely.

Came here after a walk along the canal, staff were friendly and the food was amazing, we had the pizza and the chunky chips. The pizza was amazing, freshly cooked in their pizza oven and the chips were lovely, crispy on the outside and fluffy in the inside. Will definitely come back again

5 stars for location, 4 for food. I had a cheeseburger bacon and it was good but not brilliant. The place is in fantastic location with massive grassed area and good size deck out viewing at canals. 6 stars for very nice staff.

5 stars on looks alone. Did not use The Vine was out walking with my camera on the canal and it was early on a morning if the pub was open then yes I'd have gone in for a drink. The Vine looks lovely located on the side of the Staffordshire & Worcester Canal at Kinver big car park and one of the biggest beer gardens I've seen, so when the warm weather rolls in it's a place to try out.

Amazing food, all home made and under £50 for 2 for 3 courses. My favourite place for Sunday dinner. I would highly recommend trying the food here and the staff are so friendly and on point. Great place!
