   I have frequented and worked in The Ridings a lot of years and I've seen this place before but never ate here due to my mixed personal taste of falafel, sometimes ok sometimes terrible so I was put off it for a while. I had a taster from here and it tastes nothing like any falafel I've ever tasted, it tastes so beautiful and full of flavour. I ended up ordering the extra crisp shaurma chicken with mixed cheese and mushrooms... Never tasted this style of wrap before, the chicken and veg are all freshly done in front of you, short waiting times and looks very clean. The chef is an authentic Syrian chef who cooks from original recipe and the food reflects this as I have never tasted Syrian style food this good!! The reason atmosphere is marked lower is because it is just a stall in the mall itself, it deserves its own shop with the food tasting this nice! The only problem is it is literally 30 seconds away from where I work! Looks like my break times are now spoken for and thanks for the great food! Very reasonably priced for the portion size on the wraps!

   They advertise that they're open until 7pm, but if you show up at 6.30pm, they've stopped cooking and are cleaning up, so don't bother showing up if it's after 6pm because you'll be disappointed too. Haven't tried their food and we won't be going back.

   What a wonderful hidden gem this is. It’s tucked away in a corner of the Ridings, but well worth a visit. You can get an authentic, freshly cooked chicken shawarma wrap (complete with pickles) for £4 – which is great value.

   Nothing beats great food made by someone passionate about what they are cooking. My partner is Syrian so we always jump at the chance to find good falafel. Genuinely incredible food, great value and a lovely generous man serving it. It’s a shame we aren’t local as I would love this to be our local spot.
